C4 Chapter 4

That was not a human face anymore! The criss-cross scars distorted his facial features, which made his face looked so creepy that no one dared to look at him directly.

Although Lita had gotten herself mentally prepared for this on the way to the Selmy Family, she was still in a panic when she saw the real person.

"What's wrong? Are you scared?" The voice sounded old and hoarse.

The woman's reaction made Alex despise her even more. How dare she, a girl as timid as hare, have an axe to grind in the Selmy Family?"

Alex felt that the woman's scream was not horrifying enough. He got off the bed, bent over to approach Lita, and raised his ghostly hand. "Lita, don't be afraid... Come on, let me hug you!"

Seeing the hands with scars crisscrossing like centipedes, Lita drew back in extreme fear. "Don't come over... don't come over!"

That was an instinctive fear of human beings. Lita was really not able to face it calmly. It was really horrifying. The ghostly man was like a zombie or an evil beast and stood in front of her. He was a real person.

"Lita, tonight is our wedding night... Don't be afraid... If you think I'm ugly, I can turn off the lights." Alex admired the real fear on the woman's face. He wanted her to clearly feel that she had to pay the price if she dared to sign the marriage certificate with him at will.

Did she have an axe to grind with the Selmy Family? It would depend on whether she had the guts or not!

While Alex was still, Lita quickly escaped from Alex raised arms like a cat. She hurriedly opened the door of the room and stumbled out...

The lingering fear surged in her heart. In the empty corridor, Lita choked with sobs. When she saw Alice looking up in the living room downstairs, she seemed to find the last straw and hurriedly run toward her downstairs.

"Alice... I'm so scared!" Lita suddenly threw herself into Alice's arms and sobbed.

Anyone would be more or less scared when seeing that face. After all, it was different from those horrible monsters in the movie. It really could move and pounce on you, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid..." Alice patted

Lita back and comforted her. "Mrs. Selmy, your good days have just begun."

Good days? Was what Alice said the truth or the irony? She was almost scared out of her mind. What kind of good day was it?"

"Alice, shall I sleep with you tonight?" Lita was really scared. She held Alice's hand tightly, afraid that she would disagree.

From time to time, she looked at the second floor in panic. She was worried that Ethan would come out to find her.

"You want to sleep with me? On your wedding night..." Alice was a little embarrassed. After all, it was the wedding night of Lita and the Second Young Master. The bride wanted to sleep with a servant. Would the Second Young Master agree?

In the medical room on the second floor.

Looking at Lita who was crying miserably in Alice arms on the screen, Ethan sighed slightly. "This guy was pretending to be me to scare Lita again! Lita is now his wife.... This guy really ought to be beaten!"

Ethan paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "Cole, call Alex over. I need to talk to him."

But Cole Owen shook his head in disagreement, "I think it's good for them! Considering the temper of the Second Young Master, the more you force him, the more he does the opposite, and the more Miss Lita will suffer!"

"But it's not good to let him pretend to be me to scare Lita as will!" Ethan was a little angry with Alex behavior, "He will scare Lita away!"

"They have to communicate with each other in a certain way." Doctor Owen glanced at Lita on the screen, who was going to go to the room with Alice, "Lita chose to stay at the Selmy Family. It's really difficult for her. In fact, this girl is quite clever and knows to ask Alice for help."
