C4 That's His Son!

That's his son!

"Daddy!"

Zhung Niansheng looked as though his saviour had come to him - he threw his bag down and ran into Zhung Shiyan's arms immediately. He seemed to have become a completely different child from before - he'd transformed from being calm and stoic to being eccentric and lively.

Qiao Weiyi stared vacantly at Zhung Shiyan for a moment when he'd suddenly appeared at the door - she stared at his handsome face for a while before slowly shifting her gaze to the dashing little boy who barely reached the latter's thigh.

That's his son.

The little boy was the same age as Qiao Nuo.

Qiao Weiyi curled her finger slightly as a conflicted look flashed across her eyes. She quickly looked away and acted as though she hadn't been staring when Zhung Shiyan suddenly looked up.

Qiao Weiyi took a deep breath and repeatedly told herself that she had nothing to do with the father and son pair - she willed herself not to look at the duo no matter what.

The teacher, who'd been on the phone this entire time, widened her eyes in disbelief when she saw Zhung Shiyan - she immediately put down the phone and rushed over to greet the latter.

"Chairman Zhung, why are you here in person?"

"If I hadn't come, Teacher Zhou, what would you have done to my son?"

Zhung Shiyan asked monotonously as he patted Zhung Niansheng's head and pulled him to stand beside him.

"Chairman Zhung, I wouldn't have done anything too severe," Teacher Zhou hastily replied as she felt her heart skip a beat, "I wouldn't dare to inflict a severe punishment on Young Master Zhung."

"My son was bullied by another child and punished to stand against the wall."

Zhung Shiyan scooped Zhung Niansheng up into his arms without even sparing Teacher Zhou a glance - he gently wiped the dirt off his son's face as he furrowed his brows angrily.

He then turned to look at Qiao Nuo, who looked so neat that it didn't look like she'd been fighting at all - his expression turned sour at this.

Qiao Weiyi's heart skipped a beat - no one understood just how vengeful Zhung Shiyan could be like she did. She protectively pulled Qiao Nuo behind her as she stared at Zhung Shiyan nervously.

It was her fault for failing to teach her daughter well such that she'd bullied another child - she could accept responsibility for this. However, she wouldn't agree if Zhung Shiyan wanted to inflict any sort of harm on her young daughter just to get back at her for what she'd done to his precious son!

"Chairman Zhung, you're mistaken," Teacher Zhou explained, "It was Young Master Zhung and Qiao who'd fought with another child. That child is now lying in the hospital."

She paused for a moment before she added, "I heard that the child's face is swollen and that there are injuries all over his body - his parents mentioned that they wish to resort to legal means."

Zhung Shiyan and Qiao Weiyi looked at their respective child at the same time.

So it wasn't the two of them who'd been fighting - instead, it was the two of them who'd ganged up against another child!

Qiao Weiyi immediately pulled Qiao Nuo from behind her - she hadn't been too worried when she saw that Zhung Niansheng didn't look too beat up. However, after hearing that a child had been hospitalized by Teacher Zhou, the former now realized just how serious the situation actually was.

"Why did you hit the other child?" she asked.

Qiao Nuo glanced at Zhung Niansheng, who was in Zhung Shiyan's arms, before murmuring, "That's because Fatty is extremely hateful - he talked bad about Shengsheng behind his back. When Shengsheng heard it, he pushed and hit Shengsheng. I hit him because I was angry that he'd hurt Shengsheng."

"So this has nothing to do with you at you - why did you step in and play the hero?"

Qiao Weiyi couldn't help but ask her daughter.

Qiao Nuo pulled her pigtails as she glanced at Zhung Niansheng - she murmured softly, "Actually, Shengsheng is much prettier than me - he's the prettiest in our class! I was the hero who'd saved him, the beauty, the damsel in distress."

Qiao Weiyi couldn't believe her daughter, who was only five years old - the former felt like covering her face in embarrassment.

How had she managed to raise such a tomboyish little girl?
