C4 You're Not Allowed To Wear Glasses From Now On

The sleek black car parked at the fronts of the Moo family villa. There seemed to be no sign of any outsiders besides their car.

Moo Nuannuan was about to unfasten her seatbelt when Mu Tingxiao suddenly leaned over. Before she could even react, his long and slender fingers slid from her shoulders to her sides where the buckle was, and with the click of his finger, the seatbelt loosened. "There," he said softly, and his eyes glimmered with indescribable emotion. He still hadn't moved from his position.

His handsome face was millimeters away from hers. He was so close that she could see all the lines etched across his eyes and the stay hairs that had fallen to his cheeks. Even up close, the man still had the looks to make any woman fall to his feet. His breath fanned against her face, and the smell of mint and aftershave lingered around her. Although she had always been calm and composed around him, she still couldn't help but turn away and blush at the implication of his actions. What the hell was going on?

Her soulless eyes flashed in panic, and she gripped the seatbelt close to her chest. There was absolutely no woman in the world who could deny the man in front of them. Whether old or young, she was a hundred percent percent sure that they'd all fall victim to the man's wordless charm.

However, as soon as she remembered how he had acted around her the night before, her lips thinned and her eyebrows furrowed.

That was all he was–a troublesome rich playboy who wanted to fool around with just about anyone. Even if he was good looking, his personality certainly didn't cut it.

Raising her head, she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. The sunlight had highlighted the yellowness of her face as well as the dark spots that were scattered across her cheeks. It was enough to get rid of all the men she had met, especially those who were only there for the looks and the charm, but it certainly did nothing on this man! "I'm getting off the car," she said stiffly.

Interesting. Mu Tingxiao narrowed his eyes.

Now, the softness of his features were gone, and a sense of coolness blanketed around them. Noticing this change, Moo Nuannuan quickly turned to the car door, but just as her hands clenched around the handle, he used one of his hands to pull her back. "Not so fast." There was a certain silkiness to his tone, one that had immediately sent shivers running down her spine.

From an outsider's perspective, it looked like he was holding her in his arms.

"I was kind enough to send you back. Shouldn't I get a thank you?" He stared deeply at her.

What the hell was this family smoking? Her expression remained timid as she bowed her head. "Thank you."

If the Moo family were to see her like this, they definitely wouldn't react well. After all, she was supposed to be engaged to Mu Tingxiao–not his cousin, and she didn't want to be seen frolicking around with just any man off the streets! She still needed to give her husband some face, unwilling or not! Mu Jiachen could just go screw himself! Didn't he know normal etiquette?

His gaze lowered to her pursed lips, and his face gradually darkened. "So insincere," he teased. "If that's the case, maybe I should just take your gift myself."

Although her face was uneven and spotty, there was something about her lips that pulled him in. As his thumb hovered across the soft surface, he found himself leaning in.

Besides, she was his legitimate wife! Why did he have to endure such pains?

Without another thought, he bent down and kissed her.

Moo Nuannuan couldn't even comprehend what was happening. One minute ago she was close to biting his head off, and now, she could feel an icy surface slamming against her lips. Her fingers stiffened from the sudden force, and she could feel her entire body leaning against the leather seat. At first, she found herself sitting still, and it had taken her a few seconds to actually snap out from her reverie.

She wanted to push him away, but his hands were wrapped tightly around her shoulders, forcing her to sit still.

Mu Tingxiao used this opportunity to slowly remove her glasses, revealing her clear and bright eyes. Honestly, if she had been wearing a mask, there would've been a chance that she could bring any man to his knees.

Her having no glasses was far more pleasing to the eye.

Her face turned red from the anger, and she could feel her hands clenching to her sides. She still hadn't given up in struggling against him, and her eyes couldn't help but narrow. How dare he treat her like some object! He even dared molest her in front of the Moo family household! Didn't he have any shame? Didn't he feel sorry for his cousin as it was? "Get off me!" Her voice was cold and spiteful, but he didn't seem to care.

"From now on," he started, pulling away from her luscious lips. "You're not allowed to wear your glasses. Otherwise, I'll be forced to kiss you again."

Her lips were warm, and she tasted sweet.

Mu Tingxiao lowered his head, and his eyes flashed with so much intensity that she found herself freezing right on the spot.

There was something about the way he had looked at her–like a beast marking his territory–that had made her feel incredibly warm.

"What the–"

"Nuannuan?"

Moo Nuannuan was just about to scold him when she heard a voice sounding from the door. Looking outside the half-open window, she gasped.

It was Xiao Chuhee. She had wondered what the fuss was all about, but as soon as she saw her daughter and this strange man right at the front of the car, her eyes widened in surprise and in anger. "Why are you here?" Although there was still a trace of faux sweetness in her voice, there was a mix of malice and hostility tied to her words–one that Moo Nuannuan had grown accustomed to over the years.

However, she didn't mind that. Instead, she could feel a sense of anxiety rising up to her chest.

Fuck! Of all the people who could've seen her, it was her mother!

"Why don't you come down?" Xiao Chuhee offered through gritted teeth.

Knowing that she had no other choice, Moo Nuannuan stepped out of the car. Although her face appeared impassive, her lips remained swollen as a reminder of their last activity. Her cheeks still remained flushed as well.

Once she had stepped down, the old woman didn't waste any time as she pulled her arm and dragged her into the villa.

Unexpectedly, Mu Tingxiao stuck his head out of the window right on time. "Sister-in-law, I'll be waiting for you," he called out, wickedly rubbing his lips in reminder of her sweetness.
