C1 The new beginnings

Here I stand in front of my dad's hospital ward with my mind drifted somewhere else...

"U have to marry him" said my grandma...I know she doesn't hate me and is rather trying to fulfill my grandfather's last wish but I am just 17 and still not ready to be married.

My grandfather died when I was 10 and I honestly don't remember much about him, but from what else I have heard they all say that ; he loved me to the moon and back.

"I know darling u r not ready to be married but u also know our financial condition if not for ur uncle Nilesh we would have already lost ur father"said my mom.

After hearing this I could see anger swell up in my uncle Anand's eye after he heard Nilesh uncle's name but I glared at him which made him swallow a bit of his anger but still frowning.

Uncle Nilesh was my mother's younger brother along with 2 more sisters and my mom was the eldest whereas uncle anand was my father's brother.

After the accident of my dad all the responsibility was kinda handed to my uncle anand but it is not easy to educate four children in today's era with just one person earning and packages with a certain amount of cash are delivered at our door ever month on the 1st of every month at the name of my uncle Nilesh which helps us alot.

The kapoor family was one of the richest families in the world with the whole world at their feet well obviously except our country which was totally ruled by a name called 'PR companies'. In the short of 4 year's this company had made its way to the top and ruled the people's hearts like never.

My marriage was fixed with the eldest son of the kapoor family Rohit kapoor who in the short of 3 year's in his business had almost doubled the profits. He was super handsome, tall, arrogant and noble all at the same time.

"We were gonna wait for a couple more years till you got a little older darling but the kapoor grandpa is on his death bed and may not survive more than a couple of months and it's his last wish to see you both get married..... honestly this should have been told to u by your dad but as you know..."my mom started sobbing after saying that.

Yeah my dad has been in a coma for the past 5 years soon after my grandfather death he had an accident so he didn't get a chance to tell me about this earth shattering news...

"Is this my dad and grandpa wanted!?" I asked with almost tears in my eyes.

"Yes darling" replied my mom softly sobbing.

"Fine I will get married" I replied with a sad smile on my face ...well if thos is what they wanted for me then why not.

My mom and grandma had a look of disbelief on their face before they gave me a bright smile and uncle anand just stood there frowning with a look of shock on his face. He wanted to say something but was stopped by my ice cold glare.

"Dad now I have even agreed to marry someone I don't know in hope that you will be happy that I fulfilled grandpa's last wish and would wake up to give me a proud look and tell me that everything is just gonna be fine...."

Here is stood in front of my dad's hospital bed hoping that he will wake up and give me a tight hug and gently stroke my cheek.
