Mom asked dad.

Dad sat on a wooden chair with his hand on his head, he shook unable to speak, I'm guessing he's in a lot of shocks, after what Katie did.

What are we going to do now that she finally ran away, I'm not going to think of a solution?..

Katie did want me to take her place. But, can I be able to pull such a stunt?

A runaway bride will most definitely make my family get laughed at and To stop that. Taking the place of my sister, Is the only solution I thought of.

I got my parent's attention. "I have a solution,". I said to them.

Mom rose from the wall she pressed against and said.

"What is it dear, we will do anything in other to avert the shame Kate had gotten us into"

She gently squeezed my hands.

Her eyes were as if she was about to cry.

I gathered up my courage, and after some time confined in them, the idea of having Katie's place at the wedding switched with mine.

"I think the best thing is to take Katie's place at the wedding," I said.

Dad immediately rebuked them.

Mom also agreed. I am sure that it wouldn't be easy to make them accept, however, what choice do we have?

Do we have to wait until the time for the wedding begins or let everyone know what my sister did?

I don't think, Kaylan will be able to accept the truth, his wife to be running away from their wedding with another man.

Dad gets up from the chair he was seated on and said.

"I can't allow you to marry Kaylan, it won't be right for you to spoil your life, just for your selfish sister".

He is right. However, I don't have a choice. My family needs me and for every love, Katie's parents have showered on me.

At least, doing this to save their reputation will be something worth it

After all, what's the worst thing that can happen?

I explained to dad and urged him to accept, although he still wasn't in full support but had no choice since I have made up my mind.

He asked mom to get ready and walked out of the room, mom sat me down on the bed and lovingly place a kiss on my cheeks, she smiled and brought Kate's wedding gown she left behind.

"Go in and change there and I'll come in to check on you," she says and rode outside.

I held Katie's wedding gown and bangles and walked into the bathroom.

I freshen up and change into bridal attire.

Therefore mom came back after a while and saw me dressed and ready to seat and my sister's wedding.

The wedding was held in the gardens, and so we walked outside with my face covered, no one except mom and dad knew who was hidden inside the wedding veil, not even Kaylan and his family.

Dad took me from mom and we slowly walk down the aisle, everyone seated there all gazed at me, and Kaylan do wouldn't stop smiling.

Dad left me in his care and went back to his seat, he had this worried look, and trust me, he isn't the only one.

Suddenly I had cold feet, I scourged back but Kaylan grabbed my hand facing the priest.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here to join Katie and Kalyan in holy matrimony,"

The priest announced.

My legs were shaking, my palm was sweaty listening to the priest.

It came to the point where the rings were to be brought out and our vows read.

Vow?.

I had nothing to say to him, all except his wife to be ran away from the wedding, but a vow?

That's like asking for my heart, and I can't possibly give that out.
