Zayne

A week later, I am sitting in the kitchen with Carolyn as she bakes my favorite, well, Maija’s favorite cookies, which in the last week have become my favorite as well. I have been eating them like crazy the last week because of the cookie that I want. I still have not been able to eat. Maija has been staying in her room a lot, and I feel she is doing it to avoid me. I have been to Sienna’s house three times in the last seven days, trying to satiate this desire, but just a glimpse of her ass, and I am right back to horny.

“I’m glad you like these cookies. You and Maija have that in common.” Carolyn smiles at me, pulling my thoughts from between her daughter’s thighs to nod my head. We have spent a lot of time together since my dad is mostly away on business, and Maija is always in her room with her head in a book. I like her. She has a warm nature that is very comforting to be around. I even call her mom now. Although it has only been two weeks since we met, it felt right to say it for some reason. She is a perfect addition to our family. I can see why dad loves her, and I hope they stay together because he smiles when she is around. We would have made a perfect little family if I did not get hard every time I saw her daughter. Speaking of that beauty, I have not seen her all day.

“Should I call Maija? The cookies are disappearing quickly. She would probably kill me if she missed out on it.” I take another bite. These are the best.

“That’s because you’re eating all of them.” She laughs, smacking my hand away as I reach for another.

“Don’t worry; she’ll be here soon enough. She can smell these from a mile away. This is one of the only things that will make that girl put down a book.” I smile. Her mom talks about her with so much admiration and love; I find myself wanting to learn more about her. What she likes, loves, and dislikes– for some reason, I want to know it all.

“Did she always love reading? She treats it like air or food.” She laughs.

“Yeah, she picked up a book when she was four, and since then, she has not put them down. She’s just like her father.” Her voice is a little sad. This is the second time I’m hearing about her father. Is he still in the picture?

“Where is he?” I ask because I am genuinely curious, but I do not expect the answer I receive.

“He passed away when Maija was in a three-car accident.” Another thing me and Maija have in common, we both knew the feeling of losing a parent. I wonder how she coped over the years. Did she miss him like I missed my mother?

“I am sorry for your loss.” I finally manage to say.

I am grateful that she would be so willing to welcome me into her heart.

“Thank you.” We stand hugging each other for a couple of minutes. I’m trying to soak up all the motherly affection I have missed out on for years when Maija walks in. Mom and I pull apart. She looks at us, book in one hand, phone in her tube top, her curls strewn all over her face. My breath catches; how can she be so beautiful? She grabs a handful of cookies and walks away. My heart sinks; I barely got to see her.

“Maija Isabella Caesar.” She comes back. My heart flutters at the sound of her voice.

“Yeah, mom.”

“I have not seen you in days. The least you can do is spend some time with your mother.” And me, I think she needs to spend time with me.

“You and Zayne were having a moment. I was trying not to interrupt.” She lifts the book to her face and resumes reading as she stuffs the cookie in her mouth. Man, how I wish my dick were that cookie.

“Plant your butt on that stool and put down the book. Spend some time with your brother and me.” When she calls me her brother, I groan, but this makes that sly fox grin as she slips on the stool beside me.

“Sure, mom, I am happy to spend time with you and my brother.” I pinch her thigh under the table, which makes her jump. I laugh as she moves her thigh away.

“So, how was your evening out with Zayne last week.”

“Why don’t you ask him? You guys are best friends now, aren’t you?”

“Maija, is that jealousy I’m sensing?” I tease. I am surprised her head is out of her books long enough to notice Carolyn and I's relationship.

“Well, she is my mother,” she mumbles. I stare at her incredulously. She is jealous.

“You abandon me all the time for your books, don’t be upset that I have a son who enjoys spending time with me.” I smile at Carolyn, who tousles my hair.

“Momma’s boy.,” she mumbles, which makes me laugh. She is so adorable.

“So, how was it?” Mom asks again.

“The movie was good. The steak was fantastic, and it would have been a great night had I not been attacked by a raccoon.” I start laughing as mom looks at us, confused.

“A raccoon attacked you? I thought you took her to a five-star steak house?” She turns to me, confused. I bite my lips, trying to hold back my laughter.

“I did,” I reply between chuckles.

“How did a raccoon get in?” Little giggles escape my lips as my mind searches for a reason.

“I don’t know, mom. I was enjoying my steak when out of nowhere, this raccoon pounces on me. Zayne, my lovely new brother, did not even help. He let it attack me. It was so awful, mom.” My mouth falls open, and my laughter stops as Maija shoves me under the bus. Well, I guess I deserve it. I sigh as mom stares at me, waiting for an explanation.

“I was too shocked to do anything. I’m sorry, Maija. I promise next time I’ll protect you.” She rolls her eyes as she bites another cookie, but mom seems happy with that response.

“Maybe we should avoid that restaurant. It can’t be that great if they have wild raccoons running around attacking people.” I snicker, picturing Sienna as a wild raccoon– the image is just too much.

“It wasn’t wild with Zayne. On the contrary, it seemed quite attached to him.” I chuckle; here she goes again.

“Maybe he can be an animal tamer in the future.” Mom smiles then walk away to the refrigerator.

“Maybe, I have been known to tame wild hairy things.” I wink at Maija. I know she catches the innuendo. She rolls her eyes and picks up her phone as it vibrates. Carolyn is now busy on the other side of the kitchen as she starts dinner. Maija's phone shakes again. I lean to the side to sneak a peek, wondering who is texting her. According to mom, I know she does not have a boyfriend, and she has only one friend.

“Can’t wait…” the text reads, but she snatches her phone away before I can read the rest. Then, she slips off the stool and stands up, smirking at me.

“Mom, I have a date later.” On a date, I look at her confused. My heart is pounding in my chest. A date with who? She has done nothing but read since they moved in. Where would she meet someone to ask her out? I want to ask, but I cannot. I do not want to sound like a jealous boyfriend, even though I am burning with jealousy right now. I will wait until Mom asks her about it, then I will have all my answers.

“Ok, honey.” Ok? Isn’t she going to ask with who? Or where? All pertinent information I want to know. I turn to Maija. She smiles when she sees the anxiety on my face. I must ask her, I must know, but before I can, she slips away.

Two hours later, I am waiting at the bottom of the staircase, pacing back and forth. I’m waiting for Maija. I know she is coming soon because I was standing at her door a few minutes ago before running here. I pray she wore something modest– this is the first date, after all. There is no need to dress like she did when she went out with me. She shouldn’t give this dude any expectations. She is mine, whether she wants to admit it or not. He is only being used to make me jealous. Yeah, this is payback for Sienna. I hear the heels on the steps, but nothing prepares me for what I see; she is in a red dress that barely covers her breast– it barely covers anything. I groan. She did not even dress this hot for me. Oh, hell no, she is not leaving the house like that and showing her goods to that goofy date. Those were only for my eyes to see.

“Big brother.” She shouts as she descends the stairs, smiling wickedly. Once she is at the bottom, she twirls around, giving me a full view of everything. The dress, if you can call it a dress, hugs her curves like a second skin.

“Does this dress say, ‘I’m ready for anything?’” My eyes move slowly up her torso as my dick hardens. That dress is asking for trouble, and I do not like it.

“Maija, that dress is too much.” She eyes my crotch and smiles.

“You’re responding how I want my date to respond, so I think it is just enough. See you later, big bro. My date will be here soon.” She turns to leave, but I grab her hand. I feel a little jolt of electricity course through me as she looks at me quizzically.

“Um, you can’t leave before saying goodbye to mom.” I drag her to the den where mom is watching a movie.

“Mom, look at Maija’s hoefit, I mean outfit.” I stand beside her, smiling as Carolyn's eyes roam over the piece of cloth she has on. I can see a vein stick out in her forehead.

“Maija Cesar, change now, or you will not be leaving the house tonight.” I mentally do a fist pump thanking mom. That’s right, where does she think she is going, showing her body to that boy?

“Mom...” she whines.

“Mom, nothing, change now.” Her voice is dangerously low, and I wonder what Maija will do. Will she stand her ground, or will she give in? I shamelessly hope she protests and gets herself grounded again. She needs to end this foolish idea of dating anyone who is not me; however, my wish is not granted because she gives in. I guess she knows how to pick her battles.

“I’ll go change.” She glares at me and then turns to leave. I sit beside mom and cuddle close to her, smiling from ear to ear.
