C14 Men Are All the Same

I rubbed my aching eyes, trying to calm myself, and used my hands to push myself up to stand. With a cold smirk directed at Muh Linfeng, I said, "Muh Linfeng, remember this—you'll regret it!" Without looking back, I walked out of the home I'd lived in for three years.

Dragging my injured foot and disheveled self, I thought about how I had used my savings to buy that house, only to be kicked out by Muh Linfeng. My heart felt utterly defeated.

Reflecting on the past three years of marriage to Muh Linfeng, I realized I had cut ties with my former dancer friends to be a good wife. I would leave work early to manage the household, pouring all my emotions and energy into maintaining our marriage, leaving no room for personal friendships. Now, I truly had nothing left.

Feeling like a shell of my former self, I aimlessly returned to the bar where I had danced three years ago. The staff and bartenders had changed many times over, and I must have looked quite a mess because the server gave me a few odd glances.

I sat at the bar, picked up a glass, and downed it in one go. The burning sensation in my throat was intense, but I continued to drink, hoping that if I got drunk enough, I’d wake up to find all this misery was just a bad dream.

As the drinks kept coming, my head started to spin, and I felt the buzz taking over. I vaguely recognized a few familiar yet unfamiliar faces as I tried to recall where I had seen them before.

These guys walked over, whistling, their eyes gleaming as they said, "Well, if it isn't the queen of the dance floor from back in the day. Haven't lost your charm, have you?" Their eyes were filled with a mischievous glint as they grabbed my hand and tried to pull me away.

In my dazed state, I was lifted by them, but soon enough, another man pulled me into his arms. Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around his neck and, squinting to see clearly, realized it was Mu Chengyang!

With a stern look, Mu Chengyang told the guys, "She's with me. If you don't want trouble, you'd better leave!"

In a haze, I leaned against Mu Chengyang and drifted off, unaware of what happened next.

Suddenly, I felt a bone-chilling cold and snapped my eyes open, only to find that Mu Chengyang had dumped me into a bathtub!

Seeing I was awake, Mu Chengyang grabbed my chin, gritting his teeth as he angrily questioned, "Xu Ximo, you play the part of the respectable woman well, but deep down, you're still just a dancer trying to seduce. I can't believe I fell for it!"

Hearing the word "dancer," the image of Muh Linfeng's smug face popped into my mind again. I let out a cold laugh and said, "Yeah, I'm just a dancer. Being a good wife means nothing!" For three years, I played the role of the dutiful wife for Muh Linfeng. And what did I get in return?

A surge of revenge against Muh Linfeng rose within me. I put on a seductive expression, gently tracing Mu Chengyang's lips with my finger, bringing my nose close to his, and whispered in a soft voice, "So, were you satisfied last night?"

With that, I wrapped one arm around Mu Chengyang's neck and started unbuttoning my shirt with the other. Years of being a dancer taught me that this was an allure no man could resist.

Sure enough, Mu Chengyang tore off his shirt and pulled me onto the bed, and then...
