Gritting her teeth, Luo Youran launched the first attack against the hidden guards. These were elite, rigorously trained fighters. One or two would be no match for her, but there were eight. Already fatigued from battling the bodyguards, she was soon overpowered.

Yet, Luo Youran was never one to surrender easily. She grabbed the glass shard and slashed one of the guards restraining her, then drove it into his neck. "Brother!" The largest guard, seeing this, charged at her with fury in his eyes.

The wounded guard collapsed, blood pouring from his wound. Luo Youran hadn't anticipated that some of the guards were siblings. Her sole focus had been on escaping, not taking lives. But she felt no need to explain herself; this was a world where only the strong survived.

The two were locked in a fierce struggle, with the others under Xi Muchen's orders to restrain Luo Youran without harming her. The other guards exchanged glances before quickly moving to stop him, then took Luo Youran back to her room.

"Let me go! I have to kill that wicked woman and avenge my brother!" one of the guards exclaimed, his voice filled with murderous intent.

"Don't forget what the boss said, and remember your brother's well-being is more important!" one of the guards reminded him, having already called for an ambulance. This was a wealthy neighborhood, and the hospital was quite a distance away.

The guard gritted his teeth but ultimately decided to put aside his thoughts of revenge against Luo Youran for the time being. He personally carried his brother to the car and drove to the hospital.

After being taken back to her room, Luo Youran was in a gloomy mood. She had meticulously planned the layout of the villa's security, confident she could escape. But this incident had dealt her a harsh blow. Xi Muchen's plans were flawless, and her every move had been under his watchful eye. Knowing about the guards' presence weighed heavily on her, diminishing her hopes of escape even further.

As night fell, Xi Muchen returned with Mr. Wang and his team after being out all day.

"Sir, I have something to report!" Chu Hongwei, still seething with anger towards Luo Youran, spoke after taking his brother to the hospital.

"Go on," Xi Muchen commanded, sitting on the couch with an undeniable air of authority.

"Today, after you and Mr. Wang left, Luo Youran tried to use a shard of glass as a weapon to break out of the villa. When we intervened, she stabbed my brother in the neck with the glass, and he's still unconscious in the hospital!" Chu Hongwei's words were laced with intense hatred.

"So, what now?" Xi Muchen's dark eyes flashed with a hint of cold severity.

"Please, sir, punish Luo Youran!" As a guard, without Xi Muchen's orders, he couldn't take action against Luo Youran on his own.

"Your brother was injured by her because he wasn't skilled enough. I won't interfere!" Xi Muchen had already guessed that Luo Youran wouldn't give up on escaping.
