C2 Fighting Against Each Other

In the parking lot, two bodyguards tasked with transporting goods were casually chatting. "Hey, buddy, what's the deal with this Blood Bracelet? Why is everyone so eager to buy it?"

"Beats me! If it were up to me, I wouldn't spend millions on something useless. I'd rather spend that money having fun, you know? Haha..."

Underneath the truck, Luo Youran, dressed in black, was hidden beneath the chassis. Listening to the conversation, she confirmed there were only two guards escorting the Blood Bracelet.

Moving like a shadow, she slipped out from under the truck, knocked on the door, and called out to the men inside, "Hey!"

Bang. Bang.

The men, drawn by her voice, were swiftly taken down by Luo Youran's silenced pistol. The action was seamless, taking less than two seconds before they slumped over in their seats.

Spotting a black box on the seat, Luo Youran opened the door and eagerly grabbed it.

"Bang! Get her!"

A stone suddenly flew from behind, striking Luo Youran's knee and forcing her to the ground. Black-clad figures immediately closed in, pinning her down.

Clenching her fists, she looked at the stone on the ground, disbelief in her eyes as she raised her gaze.

There, in a familiar wheelchair, was a face she knew all too well—Mo Feng!

"Feng, why are you here?" she asked, panic in her voice.

Mo Feng, dressed in black, with close-cropped hair and intense eyes, looked at her with a cruel smirk. "All these years, I've followed your orders just to get the Blood Bracelet through you. Now, it's done."

It felt like a bolt of lightning struck her. She clenched her fists tightly, a bitter smile tugging at her lips, the pain cutting deep into her heart, leaving her speechless.

She had always seen him as her only family! She could be ruthless to the world, but never to him.

"Let it go, Luo Youran! Spare yourself unnecessary pain." Mo Feng's voice was icy, devoid of any warmth. He then jabbed her clenched hand with his cane, snatching away her gun and the Blood Bracelet.

Her delicate skin alternated between pale and flushed, with fresh blood seeping through, the pain feeling as if it would tear her apart. She choked out a low growl, "Why? Tell me why?"

Mo Feng yanked her orange-red hair, enunciating each word, "Because I hate you! Ten years ago, your mother warned me that if I couldn't save you, I was doomed. I risked everything to save you, even losing my legs, just because I wanted to survive. Five years ago, because you said, 'I like the wind,' my Ying'er vanished without a trace! I hate you! I should kill you right now!"

Each word cut into Luo Youran's heart like a blade, leaving her unable to speak. As the renowned Mercenary King, she never flinched in the face of danger, yet now she was utterly broken.

"Boss, this Blood Bracelet is fake," one of Mo Feng's men reported nervously from behind him.

"What!" Mo Feng's face turned livid. He slapped Luo Youran's head aside and grabbed the box to inspect it. Inside was a cheap counterfeit, the kind you could buy for a few bucks at a flea market. Veins bulged on the back of his hand as he hurled the box to the ground. "Damn it! That bastard Muchen is as sly as ever!"

Just then, blinding headlights beamed from the opposite direction. Xi Muchen stepped out of the car with a devilish grin, adjusting his cuffs with an air of arrogance. "Leave the woman, and the rest of you get lost! Otherwise, none of you will escape!"

Mo Feng glanced at the line of bodyguards behind Muchen, gritted his teeth, and signaled his men to retreat with the car.

Muchen's gaze fell on the woman on the ground. From the first moment he saw her, he was captivated. Luo Youran was like a breathtakingly beautiful, cunning, and lethal fox. Now she was wounded, her face etched with real pain and suffering, stirring a faint ache in his heart. But it was her own fault for being the Mercenary King, the infamous 'Fire Fox.'

Xi Muchen slowly walked over and picked her up, his voice teasing as always, "Little Wild Cat, I'm taking you home."

As soon as he spoke, she snapped her head up and pushed against him with all her strength, her hands striking out at him.

"Get lost!" she screamed, her voice raw, her chest aching with every breath.

To her, Mo Feng was the best in the world. It felt like even if the sky were falling, her Feng would protect and love her. But she was wrong! Maybe there are no good people in this world! Just pretenders!

The pain grew sharper as she struggled desperately. Muchen held her hands firmly, preventing any movement. Her sharp, red-painted nails dug into his skin, the contrast against her pale fingers creating a striking, defiant beauty.

But on that face, which could captivate anyone, her lips trembled uncontrollably, eyes brimming with tears.

"Xi Muchen! I'm warning you, don't mess with me!" she threatened, her eyes narrowing dangerously, her muscles tensing as she aimed a swift kick at Muchen's legs.
