She took a small step back, raising her hand, and tucked strands of her hair behind her ear. For some reason, she did not dare to look into his eyes.

"Thank you for sending Su Mu to help me out."

Lu Jingshen smiled and said lightly, "I was just happened to pass by and heard someone arguing in the shop which sounded like you, but it turned out to be true. We're really fated to run into each other on the streets."

She lifted up her head and looked up at him suspiciously.

"Shouldn't you be working at the company at this time? Why are you out here shopping?"

This man lied shamelessly, "It's my day off."

Although Jing Ning found Lu Jingshen suspicious to take a day off on Monday, she thought that he was the boss, so he could just decide his day off whenever he wanted. Only then she felt relieved.

He looked as if he was innocent, therefore, she could only blame it on Su Mu and said, "Nothing. I'll be back soon. Don't worry about it."

Jing Ning had no choice but to agree and hang up the phone.

Lu Jingshen put on a satisfy smile on his face.
