C19 He Is Lacking Money

She accompanied him from the afternoon to the evening.

Jing Ning's tummy was already growling in hunger.

To repay his gratitude for her, Lu Jingshen specially treated her to a dinner and bought her a dress too.

Jing Ning pouted unhappily, but knowing that he was telling the truth, she could only give up.

Looking at the remaining dishes on the table, she felt slightly full and did not feel like eating anymore.

When Lu Jingshen saw that she had done eating, he stopped too.

With that, he paid the bill, got up and left together with her.

The black Rolls-Royce was parked on the side of the road. When they came out of the restaurant, Su Mu got out of the car and respectfully opened the door for them.

"Why did you bought this?"

Lu Jingshen smiled gently, "Don't you like it a lot? Su Mu saw that you liked it, so he bought it."

Jing Ning then landed her gaze at Su Mu.

Su Mu immediately understood what his boss meant and quickly nodded.

"Yes, Miss Jing. I bought it. Please don't be mad at me for lying to your best friend just now!"

Jing Ning looked at him and suddenly burst into laughter.

Actually, she was just teasing him, not expecting him to be so anxious.

She nodded and took out her phone, "Then I'll transfer the money to you."

"No need, no need."

Su Mu hurriedly refused. He knew President Lu was the one who paid for the dress. How would he have the guts to accept the money?

Jing Ning looked at Lu Jingshen, eyes filled with suspicion.

Lu Jingshen turned around and looked at her, "It has been many years since they passed away and I have long accepted the reality."

The car behind her only left after she entered the building. Jing Ning turned around and looked in the direction of the car, taking out her phone to make a call after some thoughts.
