It had been a busy week for Mark. He had to go through the stress of preparing for his last stage of interview and also had to work all day of the week.

The last stage is the hardest because you have to defend the position you are applying for in front of the leaders and experts

You would be defending your knowledge, skills and versatility before the head of department you are applying into and the CEO would also be present. Invited experts would also be present

This is the only day you get to see the CEO

All workers are made to understand that you can't discuss the CEO private life or take pictures

She has to remain unknown to the outside world until she says otherwise

It is a serious offence to disclose the Ceo's identity. So most workers get to meet with her on the final stage of interview

Those that do not pass are kept as intern for three months. Whoever does not perform well is then laid off

Most people struggle to reach the final stage because there is opportunity for a second chance to be fully employed

Mark's organization had just received a big celebrity client who wants to have them design all the wears for his wedding

This is an uncommon occurrence, so everyone has to put in a lot of effort to make it work.

"Mark is in charge of overseeing every details."

He had to go with two other staff members to meet with the client to finalize the designs and taking measurements of everyone

All of these activities had made him so busy that he had no time to meet with his friends.

Now that it was weekend, he decided to invite them over for a drink and probably some gossip

"Are you really planning on going through with the divorce?" I thought you said everything is fine now, Adam asked

Adam is another person who is more concerned about Mark and Sarah's relationship apart from his mother.

Ever since they had been married, he had always found reasons for them to work things out and not divorce

Mark sits in a corner sipping red wine, his countenance shows he wasn't interested in having such conversation..

He had already made his decisions known to them from the onset.

He isn't in the mood for another lecture from Adam

Mark! Don't you have any feelings for her?

Whose friend are you Adam, answer me? Mark responded in a none friendly manner. "Whose side are you on?"

Mark already qualified for the final round of interview at SD Global and that is really a good sign for him.

There is a high chance he would be employed because he had prepared so hard for it.

The tutor Sarah got him had been very useful and helpful and probably without his help, Mark might never had passed or reached the last stage

He had also payed Sarah back by being nice to her this couple of weeks.

"He actually wish they wouldn't divorce but Sarah isn't saying anything and she isn't showing signs of wanting to stay either"

"Probably her silence means she hasn't had any feelings for him"

There was no need staying in a marriage he was forced into in the first place and she also wants out from it.

"Moreover he owes her nothing either."

Adam actually does not support the divorce even though he had never met Sarah before. Mark had never introduced Sarah to any of his friends.

He had shown them her pictures and also made some videos when she wasn't looking, so his friends could recognize her but they have never met.

Adam had actually seen her from afar before but he couldn't meet her because he felt it wasn't proper. It would be difficult to explain himself to her

With what I see, she isn't so bad as you have always painted her, Adam said.

Knowing fully well that Mark isn't willing to discuss it, he still had to help him not to make the biggest mistake of his life

"Shane please say something, you know he listens to you more" Adam hopes Shane could back him up at this time.

To his greatest surprise, Shane acted as if he never heard his name. He didn't feel concerned about it at all.

Adam knows without Shane's backing, he might not be able to get through to Mark today but Shane doesn't seem to be willing.

"We are brothers Mark, you definitely have to listen to me"

"I hope I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life by inviting you over Adam?" Mark taps gently on the wine cup in his hand
