Why did you call me today instead of Shane, I thought he was your drinking partner? Adam asked
Mark had called Adam to meet with him at their usual spot but this time without Shane.
Normally, if Mark were going to drink, he always called Shane first. Adam was not good at drinking so much so hardly followed them on such occasions
"Can you not be jealous Adam?"
We are all friends you know, you are just more real than him. He gulped down his drink.
If he hears you right now, am sure he would knock the drink out of you. How much have you drank before I got here?
"Not much, just few bottles" he staggered as he tried to stand
You are drunk already Mark, let me take you home.
I don't know where she got that tutor from, but he is so amazing. Sometimes I feel she is hiding her real self. Like there is something so off about her, Mark said frowning
"Do you know she acts so high and mighty sometimes when we argue?"
Sometimes, I feel we are not on the same level, but she is just a regular lady like the rest of them. He holds Adam by the face, don't you think so too?

You are clearly drunk. Adam tried to help him up but he refused to move.

"Do you mean you wife?" Adam asked
Adam is shocked and clearly surprised to hear this kind of news from Mark.
Mark had always denied liking Sarah and now he says he loves her
How many Sarah do you know me with? He hit his heart couple of times, then picks up the drink.

You will hurt yourself at this rate if you keep drinking. Moreover it's so noisy here, I can't hear you properly, Adam replied
Let's go to the car and talk.
Adam knows Mark is under the influence of alcohol and might not remember whatever he says later.
He needs to record their conversation on his phone but the noise at the club was too much, he had to find a way to get him to a quiet place.
He gently dragged Mark with him and led him towards the car. He picks up his phone and set it to audio record.
"Mark what were you saying earlier in the club? It was too loud in there I couldn't hear you"
I don't want to talk about it again, let's go. Is that not why you dragged me out?
Adam had to find a way to make him talk. This is the only chance and it might be the only way he could save Mark from making a mistake.
That Sarah is just too much, she thinks she is better than you, who does she think she is to torment you like this.
Just divorce her let her go her way, Adam replied as he watched every reaction and expression Mark showed
Mark didn't look angry at Adam but more calm than before
You shouldn't say that about her you know, were you not her guardian angel? Mark stares into the empty space as he looked lost and lonely.
Sarah is a wonderful woman and I think I have fallen in love with her. I really don't know how it happened but I am in love with her.

It's just that I think she doesn't feel the same for me. I haven't seen that car pick her up again but I believe she is still having an affair with someone she loves, maybe it's Mr. Donald.
I can't stop her from been happy, that is why I have to go on with the divorce. If I were to make a choice again, I would choose....
Unexpectedly, a car suddenly honk so loud and very annoying, stopping Mark from talking any further
Adam tried to get Mark to finish his statement but it didn't happen. He had to give up and drove him home.
Before he could park the car well, Mark had jumped out of the car and rushed inside, slamming the door behind him
Such an ungrateful person. I have what I want anyway, let's see how you divorce her. He then drove away
