C106 Kawayoshi

By sheer coincidence, they ended up playing in the same spot as Yang Ming.

Despite its small size, the Grass Country's capital city was a sight to behold, bursting with vibrant blooms that could rival the bustling Short Book Street of the Fire Country.

Casinos, discos, bars, arcades – the city boasted a full array of entertainment options.

Karin wasn't one for gambling dens, but the arcade captivated her completely.

Upon entering, she was in her element, trying out every game and attraction in sight.

Yang Ming, too, was intrigued by the entertainment sector of the Hokage world, a subject that had always been shrouded in mystery to him. Now, he had the chance to dive in and experience it firsthand.

In the midst of their gaming spree, Gong Lizi and company arrived.

Clearly, Guan Shang and his group had the arcade in their sights as well!

"Mr. Gekka, what a surprise to see you here!" Jin Mengzi said, approaching Yang Ming with a smile.

"Mm-hmm."

Yang Ming gave a nonchalant nod in response, his gaze fixed on the arcade game before him.

Jin Mengzi's spirits fell at his lukewarm reaction.

"Hmph!"

Jin Cou, unable to watch any longer, stepped in to pull Jin Mengzi away, his cold snort signaling his readiness to confront the issue.

Just then, a portly middle-aged man emerged, laughing heartily upon spotting Gong Lizi.

Recognizing an old friend, Gong Lizi called out, "Brother An Te, it's been too long!"

"Lizi, indeed it has!" the man replied.

The two exchanged pleasantries, reminiscing about their days as classmates.

This was Miyamoto Tachibana, a senior to Yang Ming and Gong Lizi back in their Ninja School days. Although not the most gifted student, Tachibana had a sharp mind. By the age of eleven, he had ventured to the Grass Kage's office, borrowing ten thousand taels to strike out on his own in the city. His efforts paid off, and he eventually became the successful owner of the arcade, contributing regularly to the village's economy.

He's quite the successful businessman, renowned throughout the Grass Country.

Rumor has it that he footed half the bill for Yang Ming's Elite Ninja ceremony.

And that's how he secured an invitation to the event.

"These folks are with you, aren't they?"

Miyamoto caught sight of Guan Shang and company, greeting them with a warm smile.

"Hello, Senior Miyamoto!"

The group was quick to show respect, promptly returning the greeting.

"Good, good, promising talents indeed."

Miyamoto chuckled, his gaze settling on Guan Shang and Jin Cou, recognizing their potential with just a glance.

When he noticed Yang Ming and Karin, Gong Lizi didn't even pause to acknowledge them, heading straight inside.

Miyamoto caught the cue and invited Guan Shang and the rest to join in the fun.

But as he glanced back at Yang Ming, a sense of familiarity tugged at him.

"Where have I seen him before?"

The question lingered in his mind, but he shook it off and focused on welcoming Gong Lizi and the others.

As they ventured further inside, Miyamoto played tour guide.

"This arcade is split into three zones. The first is the standard area you just walked through. The second, where we stand now, is the deluxe area. And beyond here lies the VIP zone."

"Each zone caters to different clientele. The standard area is for the general public, with minimal services—it's economical and straightforward."

"The deluxe area, however, offers comprehensive services. Whatever you need, they'll provide, but naturally, at a steeper price."
