C122 Grass Country I Am Willing to Call Yuejun the Strongest!

Though the era of warriors had waned, it didn't mean they were outmatched by Ninja Techniques. It's just that few could master martial arts to the extent of Chidzuru Koichi, or strike fear into the Ninja World like Konoha's White Fang with a mere short knife. Such individuals were rare in the Ninja World.

In that moment, Chidzuru Koichi showcased his formidable swordsmanship again, living up to his reputation as a mythic swordsman of his time. His blade carried a strike so powerful it could shake the heavens and earth, making even gods and ghosts weep—a strike that could potentially fell an Elite Ninja.

As the sword qi hurtled towards Yang Ming, Grass Kage and the others held their breath. Yet, Yang Ming faced the onslaught with an impassive expression, countering with a straightforward punch. There were no elaborate techniques or otherworldly strength involved—just a plain, unembellished punch.

But with that punch, a fearsome power erupted between Yang Ming and Chidzuru Koichi, shaking the very earth.

"Boom!"

Trees and grass were sliced as if by an invisible blade, toppling over. The ground quaked and fissured, revealing alarming cracks that spread out, leaving onlookers in awe.

"Thump, thump, thump!"

Chidzuru Koichi stumbled back thirteen steps, each footprint etched clearly into the earth, before he finally came to a halt.

In contrast, Yang Ming remained unmoved, his stance as solid as a rock.

The confrontation wasn't over. Yang Ming's laughter rang out.

"A Sword God indeed! Truly formidable. But can you withstand my punch?" he challenged.

With that, Yang Ming's fist plummeted towards the ground.

"Not good!"

Sensing imminent danger, Grass Kage and the others didn't hesitate. They grabbed the magnate and retreated a hundred meters in a flash.

Then came the deafening roar.

The ground erupted as if struck by an earthquake, or as if a thousand explosive tags detonated simultaneously. Within a hundred-meter radius, the earth shattered, rocks soared, and in moments, no piece of ground remained untouched.

Trees and grass were buried beneath the debris, lost to the chaos unleashed by Yang Ming's indomitable punch.

The power of a single punch was devastating!

Chidzuru Koichi withstood several sword strikes, breaking apart fragments of rock before a stray boulder struck him, causing him to spew blood and stagger backward.

"Is he defeated?"

The onlookers were stunned by the turn of events.

Hiraga Kodai's expression darkened as he fixed his gaze on Yang Ming, who appeared unscathed after the ordeal. His eyes then shifted back to Chidzuru Koichi.

The sword legend seemed to have aged significantly. After some time, having seemingly contained his injuries and slightly recovered, he bowed deeply to Yang Ming and uttered four words with utmost respect.

"Lord Yuejun!"

Upon hearing this, everyone present, including the magnate, shuddered.

Those four simple words carried an entirely different weight.

Considering Chidzuru Koichi's standing, no one, not even a magnate, was deemed worthy of his salutation as "Lord."

But now, addressing Yang Ming as such signified that Yang Ming's prowess had unequivocally eclipsed his own.

Such deference was reserved for the presence of a superior force.

Chidzuru Koichi then turned to the magnate, Grass Kage, and the rest, reclaiming his dignified sword god demeanor. He nodded to them all and declared,

"Lord Yuejun's strength is unparalleled; I am no match for him. In the Grass Country, I acknowledge him as the supreme, and I honor him as my sovereign!"
