"She pointed at me because she's the class monitor. What gives you the right to wave your finger at me?"

Yang Ming's demeanor chilled instantly as he locked eyes with Oka Seita.

"What was that? Have the courage to repeat it!"

Oka Seita's complexion turned a ghastly shade of green. In the class, Yang Ming was the first to ever dare to sass him.

"Get lost. I'll explain things to Teacher Hino Le myself. Your blabbering is unnecessary!"

Yang Ming's voice was icy.

"Fine, fine, fine. At this school, you're the first to speak to me with such insolence. Excellent!"

Oka Seita's anger gave way to a mocking laugh, his face briefly contorted with malice.

He tensed, looking like he was about to strike!

"Oka Seita, everyone, let's not stoop to his level. We're at school. If there's an issue, I trust Teacher Hino Le will handle it justly. Let's all stay calm and see what he has to say for himself."

Sensing the tension, Fujishima Zyun quickly interjected.

"Alright."

Oka Seita shot Yang Ming a venomous glare but held back his fury at Fujishima Zyun's intervention.

He was well aware that in the school, outside of combat class, any physical altercation meant expulsion for all involved, no exceptions.

This rule was sacrosanct. Since the founding of the Ninja School, no one had dared to break it. He wasn't about to be the first.

Fujishima Zyun gave Yang Ming a meaningful look.

With a faint smile, Yang Ming exited the library and headed for the classroom.

But just outside the library, he encountered Hino Le standing in the training area, her face the picture of indifference.

As Yang Ming approached, she demanded.

"Gekka Ming, I expect an explanation!"

"An explanation? A mere Journeyman Ninja like you isn't qualified to teach me. Does that explanation suffice?"

Yang Ming responded with a dismissive tone.

Before Hino Le, he appeared utterly unconcerned.

"Impudent!"

"Conceited!"

"To think you would speak so disrespectfully to Teacher Hino Le, Gekka Ming. I truly underestimated you!"

"Idiot!"

At Yang Ming's declaration, Oka Seita and his companions erupted in furious shouts.

Some were even ready to lash out physically!

"Oh? You claim I'm unworthy to teach you. On what grounds?"

Hino Le gestured for everyone to hold back, her gaze piercing into Yang Ming as she spoke with loaded significance.

To anyone else, such words might suggest madness, a reckless disregard for decorum. But that wasn't the case here.
