C41 Trash Does Not Have the Qualifications to Survive!

The normally quiet students were abuzz with excitement, each one itching to demonstrate their talents before the high-ranking officials. After all, they were destined to become ninjas and serve the village upon graduation. Catching the eye of these leaders now could secure a promising future in the ninja departments.

Teacher Hino Le took the helm, ensuring everything was in order and ready to go. In contrast, Yang Ming found himself with nothing to do, lounging in a seat with a carefree air about him.

"Huh? Is that guy a student too? While everyone else is gearing up to impress, he looks like he couldn't care less," someone remarked, as Yang Ming's demeanor drew the villagers' attention.

In the Ninja School, future ninjas were being groomed, each one bearing the weight of high expectations. Yet there was Yang Ming, the outlier, while everyone else was diligently preparing.

"He's probably one of those students who doesn't excel, lacks the skills, and knows it, so he's just given up," a villager speculated.

"That makes sense. Even though the Ninja School is meant to train ninjas, not everyone is cut out to be a qualified one. This guy is likely one of the underperformers who just doesn't have what it takes," another added.

With these words, the villagers' perception of Yang Ming shifted, their looks turning scornful. In the Ninja World, strength commanded respect, and the weak were met with disdain—status notwithstanding.

"If he lacks potential, he shouldn't even be here. He's just squandering resources—a waste of space. As a Grass Ninja, I won't stand for such a waste to remain!" a villager declared, his discontent palpable.

"Absolutely. Trash doesn't deserve to exist. Once the school celebration is over, we'll bring this to Lord Grass Kage's attention. The Ninja School has no place for such trash," echoed the others, branding Yang Ming as disposable and seeking his expulsion.

"Should we say something to him? He's making a spectacle of us," Chang Jiaye observed, unable to ignore Yang Ming's presence.

It wasn't just him; others noticed too, particularly Yang Ming's classmates. Yet, most quickly averted their gaze, feigning ignorance of the person before them.

"There's no point in intervening. If he doesn't care about himself, why should we bother wasting our breath and energy? Let him be. Once the school festival is over, his days as a student are likely numbered. Someone else will deal with him," Oka Seita remarked with a derisive sneer.

"Really, some people just can't read the room. He still thinks he's back at the Ninja School, behaving however he pleases. He's asking for trouble," added Fujishima Zyun, echoing the sentiment with his own cold laugh. They both dismissed any further concern for Yang Ming.

In the midst of the surrounding chatter, Hino Le, the teacher, cast a meaningful glance at Yang Ming. She hesitated, choosing not to address the situation just yet.

As the fireworks ascended, signaling the start of the school festival, Hino Le declared the commencement of the festivities. The first performer confidently took the stage to demonstrate her abilities, under the watchful eyes of judges and the school's leadership.

Seizing the moment, Hino Le made her way toward Yang Ming. As a teacher, she felt compelled to uphold the honor of the Ninja School. She couldn't stand by and let someone like Yang Ming tarnish the institution's reputation.

With the festival in full swing, the crowd's attention was riveted on the spectacle in the arena. No longer did anyone spare a deliberate glance Yang Ming's way; he simply wasn't worth the distraction.
