C50 Three Fields Clear!

It's no surprise he sought out Yang Ming!

Looking around the entire village, the only person who could and might be willing to help him was Yang Ming.

"Alright!"

With that thought, Yang Ming nodded in agreement.

Whether or not it turned out to be the Flame Warm Herb, he was determined to take this journey.

If it was the herb, fantastic; if not, no big deal.

Besides, he was quite intrigued by someone bold enough to challenge the Grass Ninja for their possessions.

The back mountain, just outside the village and no longer within Grass Village's domain, was still in close proximity to the Grass Ninja. Anyone willing to dispute with the Grass Ninja in such a place was certainly noteworthy.

For Yang Ming, this was his first encounter with anyone from the Ninja World outside of the Grass Ninja!

Chu Koichi then took the lead, and together they left the village, heading swiftly toward the back mountain.

About ten minutes later, they reached the back mountain where several medical ninjas from Grass Village were tending to their wounded comrades. Yang Ming observed Chu Koichi's subordinates in a standoff with a group of middle-aged men dressed as Lang Ninja.

Among them were even warriors!

Yang Ming instantly understood why Chu Koichi was outmatched.

A Junior Ninja versus a Warrior was an almost certain defeat!

Yet, they hadn't gone for the kill, which clearly indicated a respect for the formidable Grass Ninja.

At the moment, everyone was encircled around the center of the field, on a ten-square-meter patch of grass, which was the very grass Chu Koichi had mentioned they were all vying for.

"Is this what you were talking about?"

Upon seeing it, Yang Ming's expression turned to one of disappointment.

Clearly, it wasn't the Flame Warm Herb, just an unusual medicinal plant.

Such herbs were plentiful in the Ninja World.

"Chu Koichi, is this the help you've brought? A five-year-old kid? Has the Grass Village run out of ninjas?"

At that moment, a red-robed Lang Ninja, spotting Yang Ming's arrival, couldn't resist scoffing.

He recognized Chu Koichi and addressed him with a sneer.

"Komori Daisei, do you realize what you're doing? This isn't your territory. You've crossed the border to come near the Grass Village. Aren't you afraid of what Lord Grass Kage might do, destroying your little village?"

Confronting the red-robed Langren, Chu Koichi let out a cold, mocking laugh, ready for a head-on clash.

"Haha, Chu Koichi, what makes you think you can speak for the Grass Kage? If the Grass Kage himself were here, I'd concede defeat and leave at once. Sadly, you're not him. Besides, we're beyond the borders of your Grass Village. Even if the Grass Kage were here in person, we'd still settle this through strength. Don't try to intimidate me with the Grass Kage's name!"

Komori Daisei bellowed with laughter, eyeing Chu Koichi fearlessly.

Heavenly Beach was a small village formed by Langren, renowned throughout the Grass Country, and Komori Daisei was its leader.

"How dare you!" Chu Koichi seethed, on the verge of striking.

"Enough! Silence, both of you. Have you forgotten our previous agreement?"

At that moment, a blue-robed elder in his fifties barked out, silencing them instantly. They turned to him, faces etched with wariness, Chu Koichi included.

"In the Ninja World, strength commands respect. This territory doesn't belong to the Grass Ninja. Since we've all laid claim to it, let's determine the rightful owner through a show of strength, as we agreed earlier. I'm certain the Grass Kage would expect no less if he were here," the elder stated with an authoritative air.

Komori Daisei sneered but held his tongue, while Chu Koichi bowed respectfully to the elder.

"Yes, Mr. San Tian!"

Chu Koichi then nodded to Yang Ming, and they moved aside. Komori Daisei rallied his own followers, and the two groups faced off, with the blue-robed elder, San Tian, presiding as the arbiter.
