C52 A Former Warrior!

Before the Rikudō Sennin founded the Ninja Sect, martial prowess ruled the land!

Warriors were held sacred, commanding respect across the earth with their might and spirit.

Their formidable blades and hallowed ethos reigned supreme, shaping the course of several eras.

Alas, with the advent of the Ninja Sect, potent Ninja Techniques began to emerge.

A warrior, even after decades of training, couldn't match the power of a Journeyman Ninja wielding a B-rank Fire Style jutsu!

Elite Ninjas, with their techniques capable of altering the heavens and shifting oceans, possessed a might that warriors could scarcely dream of.

Thus, the age of the warrior waned.

Yet, their decline didn't signify weakness; warriors who had honed their craft to perfection over decades could rival an Elite Ninja, though such individuals were rare, contributing to the warriors' downfall.

Komori Daisei exemplified this truth with his flawless demonstration.

His blade, whether in speed, strength, or spirit, was the epitome of purity. A Junior Ninja stood no chance against such force, unable to even form a hand seal, let alone withstand the attack. Their only hope was to evade using Body Replacement Techniques, but ultimately, they would fall to his sword.

Such a display was breathtakingly exquisite!

In that moment, as Komori Daisei basked in his triumph, Chu Koichi's face twisted into an expression of utter dismay.

He gazed upon the massive stone, now cleaved into pieces, knowing full well he could achieve the same feat with all his might. But it would require hand seals and a significant expenditure of Chakra, leaving him drained after just one strike.

Komori Daisei, on the other hand, made it seem effortless.

"With my Chakra reserves as a Junior Ninja, I can at best execute three C-rank Ninja Techniques," Chu Koichi lamented inwardly, keeping his thoughts to himself. "And in the time it takes to form a seal, he'd already be upon me. I stand no chance."

As for Yang Ming, he had been dismissed from consideration.

He was called upon for assistance, not to face certain doom. Against such a foe, even if Yang Ming could exchange a few blows, any injury would make it impossible to face the Grass Kage with honor.

His face turned a ghastly shade of pale, and he found himself at a loss for words.

"Chu Koichi, your silence will be taken as a refusal to fight. In that case, I'll declare you the loser. Any objections?" San Tian asked, her eyes gleaming as she fixed her gaze on Chu Koichi.

"I..." Chu Koichi faltered, clearly wrestling with a decision. After a moment's hesitation, he cast a meaningful look at Yang Ming and spoke.

"Hold on, Chu Koichi. Your assistant hasn't even taken a shot. If you're considering surrender, you should at least demonstrate your capabilities. Otherwise, it's just a sign of your resentment. I pride myself on winning convincingly. If you give up like this, that simply won't do," Komori Daisei interjected with a cold laugh, pointing his knife at Yang Ming.

Chu Koichi's face contorted with discomfort at these words.

He understood that in a duel, even a concession required a show of effort, especially in a battle of wits like this one.

Komori Daisei was clearly aiming to shame him, but with his inferior skills, Chu Koichi was left without a retort.

He had hoped to bow out quietly, but the opposition's relentless pressure left him utterly defenseless.

"Ah!" The Grass Ninja behind Chu Koichi sighed in unison.

Regrettably, they were all medical ninjas, lacking any fighting prowess. Confronted with the situation, all they could do was sigh in dismay.

"It's such a shame. Why would Chu Koichi bring a mere child to this confrontation? Did he think the opponent would go easy upon seeing a child? He must not realize that's Komori Daisei, the ruthless leader of the Lang Ninja, notorious for his trail of bloodshed!"
