C88 Koyo!

Nestled in the north of the Fire Country and neighboring the Waterfall Country, with the Fields Country nearby, lies the Frost Country. Surrounded by the sea, this small yet economically thriving nation boasts abundant natural resources, making it a land of wealth.

The Frost Country's name stems from its maritime borders. With the seasons' shift from warmth to chill, a biting cold sweeps in from the sea, blanketing the country in frost—a signature of the land.

This unique climate fosters a variety of distinctive local products. Among them, the most renowned is Frost Mountain, situated at the heart of Frost Village, serving as the emblem of the Frost Country. Perpetually shrouded in frost and backed by the sea, the mountain is a natural wonder.

Frost Village itself is perched upon this mountain, where a peculiar ginseng thrives. This ginseng, similar in size to its common counterparts, is distinguished by its numerous roots, reminiscent of a lion's mane in a wild frenzy. Exclusive to Frost Mountain, it's aptly named Frosty Madness Ginseng.

"Indeed, the Frost Country is home to the Frosty Madness Ginseng!" Yang Ming exclaimed, his spirits lifted as he and his companions, weary from travel, reached the country's border.

Having departed from the Grass Country, they pressed on toward their frosty destination. Their journey led them swiftly through the Waterfall Country, a secluded paradise cut off by cascading falls. The Grass and Waterfall Countries maintained a cordial relationship, thanks in part to the frequent diplomatic visits by Kawabata Nozomu. Along the way, encounters with the Waterfall Ninja were unexpectedly amiable.

Crossing into the Frost Country was seamless, but the moment they entered, an intense cold greeted them. Renowned for its frigid air, the Frost Country was in the grip of winter, the recent snowfall intensifying the chill.

As allies of the Grass Country, they were warmly received despite the cold. A Frost Ninja, distinguished by the five circlets on his forehead, instantly recognized Kawabata Nozomu and greeted him with a deferential bow.

"Lord Kawabata!" greeted a captain-like Frost Ninja with due respect.

"Koyo, are you on border patrol duty today?"

Kawabata Nozomu looked at the person before him and nodded in recognition, clearly acquainted with them.

"Yes, Lord Kawabata. Your timing is impeccable. Lord Frost Kage has run into a bit of trouble recently, and with your wealth of experience, you might just have the insight we need!"

Koyo responded with a respectful nod, then continued.

"Oh? What's the issue that's even got Lord Frost Kage stumped?"

Kawabata Nozomu was surprised and inquired further.

"Let's walk and talk, Lord Kawabata."

Koyo's demeanor turned grave as he broached the subject, leading the way.

"Alright!"

Kawabata Nozomu gave Yang Ming a quick look, and seeing no objection, he nodded in agreement. The trio then set off towards Frost Village.

During their conversation, Yang Ming learned about the predicament that had even Frost Kage at a loss.

The Frosty Madness Ginseng on Frost Mountain was not faring well this year. The plants were undersized, and many had yet to mature.

This time of year was typically harvest season, which usually meant significant revenue from trade.

Frost Kage was troubled, having convened the top brass to investigate the cause on Frost Mountain.

"There's an issue with the Frosty Madness Ginseng?"

Kawabata Nozomu's expression grew somber upon hearing this.

It was indeed a serious matter.

It was no surprise that Koyo looked to him as if he were a lifeline.

Grass Country was renowned for its dense vegetation, which is why it was named so. Their expertise in botany was unparalleled.

While Kawabata Nozomu wasn't a botanical sage, his broad knowledge could potentially pinpoint the issue.

Yang Ming and Karin, meanwhile, were left out of the equation.
