C90 Without Them I Can Save You!

"No worries, Lord Frost Kage is swamped with responsibilities every day. Koyo, you're too kind!"

Kawabata Nozomu dismissed the concern with a wave of his hand, unfazed, and then turned his attention to Yang Ming.

He sought Yang Ming's viewpoint.

He was aware that Yang Ming's reason for visiting was precisely this matter.

"Indeed, the Frosty Madness Ginseng has encountered a problem, but it's not insurmountable!"

Yang Ming examined a specimen of the ginseng. His acute senses allowed him to detect that the vital essence within the Frosty Madness Ginseng had been utterly depleted.

Put simply, it was dead.

It's no wonder the medical ninja were at a loss; resurrection is a feat only gods can achieve.

For Yang Ming, however, this was not a tall order.

Given the existing seeds, regrowth was entirely feasible.

In that moment, after Master Hundred Rivers had confirmed his suspicions, he shook his head and sighed.

"Frost Kage, it's time to let go of the Frosty Madness Ginseng. They're beyond saving now."

"What?! They're dead?"

Frost Kage was visibly startled by the news.

"Exactly. A peculiar substance has choked the life out of their internal structures. With the life force severed, they've perished. As they say, the dead cannot be brought back to life, and that applies to the Frosty Madness Ginseng as well. Thankfully, their seeds are still viable. For now, we must clear away the deceased parts and hope for regrowth next year."

Hundred Rivers spoke with a calm resignation.

"This... This... Surely there's another solution? We can't possibly wait another year!"

Struck by the gravity of the situation, Frost Kage stared at Hundred Rivers, his voice a murmur of disbelief.

"There might be a way. To my knowledge, there are two individuals capable of resolving this dilemma, but it's unlikely they would assist you."

Hundred Rivers said, his brow furrowed in concern.

"Who are these individuals? I'm willing to pay any price if it means reviving the Frosty Madness Ginseng. I must try!"

Frost Kage insisted urgently.

"In the entire Ninja World, there's only one with the skill to revive the Frosty Madness Ginseng—Senju Hashirama, the God of Ninjutsu. His Wood Escape technique would easily do the trick. Unfortunately, he has passed away, and as far as anyone knows, there's no one else in the Ninja World capable of Wood Escape."

Kawabata Nozomu sighed and slowly uttered a name before continuing. "The second individual you've heard of is Tsunade, one of the legendary Sannin from Konoha. She's recognized as the foremost expert in medical ninja techniques throughout the Ninja World, not to mention she's the granddaughter of Senju Hashirama. Her skills are more than capable of addressing your current dilemma."

"However, it's impossible for you to enlist either of them. Senju Hashirama has long passed away, and Tsunade, with her esteemed status, is beyond your reach."

"Senju Hashirama? Tsunade?" Upon hearing these names, the flicker of hope that had sparked within Frost Kage was swiftly doused.

He sat on the ground, a shell of his former self, devoid of any trace of his usual poise.

"No need for them to lift a finger—I can bring him back!" Just then, a calm voice broke through the silence, startling everyone. Yang Ming stepped forward, clutching the Frosty Madness Ginseng.

"Can you really revive the Frosty Madness Ginseng?" A Frost Ninja scoffed at the sight of Yang Ming, who seemed no older than a five-year-old. How capable could a child be? He was openly skeptical.

"What are you doing?" Koyo exclaimed in alarm, not expecting Yang Ming to take such bold action, especially in front of an audience. He was frantic with worry.

"And who might you be?" Frost Kage asked Yang Ming with an icy stare, his mood sour. With the Frosty Madness Ginseng gone, Frost Country faced grim prospects, and for Frost Kage, this was a matter of utmost importance.
