C3 CHAPTER 3

It was a beautiful morning and everybody was expected to be in his or her church, but for Cynthia no, she had decided that today must be the day, but GOD has our life and destiny, she cleaned the house and made food, took her bath so she can leave the house early to avoid her dad seeing her so he won’t destroy her plan. After taking her bath, she wore a simple short gown, applied light make-up on her face, which made her so beautiful, then she set out for John’s apartment, his room was inside their flat, the house was very big and beautiful and his parent were rich, that was why he choose the time his parent will not be around to do his evil plan. As you know, if God did not support your evil ways, he has every ways to stop you. Cynthia got to John’s apartment and met him waiting for her, he had planned evil and his mind made up, she was thinking she wanted to surprise him, not knowing she was planning to help him make his plan easy. It seemed as if same devil was working in them, John offered Cynthia a chilled glass of apple juice and served her a meal of fried chicken which he bought from a fast food restaurant. She asked him who cooked the food but he lied to her that he cooked the food himself, that he specially prepared it for her since she was his love and first visitor to his apartment. She was happy thinking, he loves and appreciates her visit not knowing that his intentions were different about her. “I pity the young girl she doesn’t know that lust is carrying her mind away from her” but thanks to God.

She finished eating and gave her comment on the meal; he cleared the table because he didn’t want her to go to the kitchen because he is thought she would find out. She went and sat at the cushion in the sitting room, where he also joined her. You know men have every way of making their plans work out for them but you know, she too was waiting for him to make an attempt cause she didn’t want to be the first to make attempt, if not, it will sound and make her look foolish and stupid. He held her hand and looked into her eyes to weaken her soul, he said Cynthia do you love me the way i love you? She said YES and he asked her what she can do to prove the love she had for him, she said anything within her power and capacity, he looked into her eyes and drew her closer to him and said Cynthia, I love you with all I have ever cherished in this world and I can do anything for you my angel but I love you beyond explanation and I will stand by you at any moment and in any situation without minding your problem and without knowing your past. He drew her closer to himself and started kissing her and she kissed him too, he kissed her, romanced her the way he wanted and since she was so loosed to him, he was able to weaken her body. He was about to pull-off her cloth when his father barged in because he was not expecting to see his son with somebody talk more of a girl and in the situation he met them, this got him angry, he asked her to pick her things and leave immediately before he descends on them. He called her all sort of names like prostitute, cheap whore , shameless girl and promised to inform her dad about it and warned her not to come around his son again or else.

Cynthia felt like the ground should open and swallow her, she was angry not because of the insult but because she was not able to carry out her plan. John’s father was so angry that it led to a fight between him and his son, so he asked him and pack leave the house for him, that he is no more his son and he can go to where ever he wants and do whatever he wants to do but not in his apartment. John was shocked because he has not finished his studies and he doesn’t have much money left in his account to sustain him get an apartment, talk more of feeding, clothing, and school levies. He felt like crying but his father will not hear him out. He had no option than to call Cynthia and tell her what happened. When he called her and told her what happened she told him not to worry that he should just rent a hotel room and stay their till they find him a new apartment.

She told him that she can’t go out that day because her dad won’t allow her since his dad had reported her to her own father, he is still mad and won’t allow her go out talk more of making and demands Although she has money in her account. They spent three days without seeing each other but fortunately for her on the fourth her father travelled that day so she was able to go and helped him found and apartment. She paid for the apartment and also decorated the room for him with her money.

Since then she became responsible for his feeding and house rent. She also paid his school fees for him so he can complete his education including his masters. She was doing all this because he was deceiving her by telling her she loves her so much and definitely will marry her. With all this sacrifice he still didn’t love her or have interest in her body any longer all he wanted was for her to keep catering for his needs.

Comfort Cynthia’s friend travelled for almost a year without speaking with her friend so Cynthia was alone and lost in her own world of fake love and headache from her dad and brothers. She found things difficult and was no longer herself and pressure has made her loss weight.

Cynthia’s father’s friend Mr. James came from aboard with his son and family. They have not seen each other for a long time so he decided to pay his friend Cynthia’s father a visit with his family. He has three handsome sons fair looking boys and two beautiful daughters. One of the girls is married to a white man but decided to follow his father back because it’s been long and they left the country when they were still children but her main purpose of coming back was to come check her parents landed properties. Cynthia was at home when they arrived she was the one who severed them whatever they wanted their and then the oldest son of Mr. James cut himself lost with the beauty of Cynthia and started developing feelings for her but he has to pretend because that was his first time of seeing her. Cynthia never knew that some has picked interest on her and she never liked or loved anyone else apart from john. That is the man her heart lust and beat for every seconds, minutes of her days.

Mr. James son’s names are Rafael, Kenneth and Peter but Rafael is the eldest of all his children and he has picked interest in the black African beauty he has set his eyes on and since then he hasn’t been himself. He is always lost in thought thinking about her all though he knew nothing about her but he has made up his mind to ask his father about Cynthia. When Rafael told his father that he liked Cynthia and he will like to know more about her because he thinks he is in love with her. His father was so happy because he has always prayed that his sons will marry an African woman not minding her tribe then to marry a white continent woman. He told his son not to worry that since he is close to Cynthia’s father he will get her for him but hey will first make inquiries to know either she is engaged or single before he proceeds.

When Mr. James met Cynthia’s father he asked him about Cynthia and told him about his sons interest on his daughter and that he wants to marry her. Cynthia’s father was happy and told Mr. James not to worry that Cynthia will marry his son that it will be his pleasure.
