C8 Chapter 8: Fearless

It took me a while to react... I couldn't stand still, arms crossed, doing nothing. I walked to the bus stop and there he was, all soaking wet. Of course! For a moment I forgot that we both live on the same side of the city.

“Hey” I told him, and he smiled.

“You're going home?” he asked and I just nodded. “Oh, great. Let's go together then.”
