C6

Gu Mo did not pay any attention to the indistinct gazes that were probing his.

He lowered his head and stared at the textbook, but did not read a single word. Every person that entered the classroom, he looked towards the door and saw a face that did not belong to him. He then heaved a sigh of relief.

There were only three minutes left before the class ended. It seemed like he wouldn't be coming to class anymore. Gu Mo put down that worry in his heart and finally focused back onto the textbook in his hands.

It wasn't because he had been looking forward to Wan Yanyinye coming to the classroom, but because they had been so close yesterday. At that time, he had only felt shy, and it was only after a day that he felt an inexplicable sense of lingering fear.

What if he found out he was sick? Would she still help him like yesterday? Or is it... Even Gu Mo himself did not want to recall those that were hidden.

"Ring, ring."

The bell for the class finally rang, as if the tiny bit of unease in Gu Mo's heart had also fallen.

He weakly spread out on the table and silently prayed that Wan Yanyinye would not come back for lessons today. No, he would not come back for the next few weeks.

Gu Mo's gaze followed the teacher inside and moved to the podium. When the teacher opened his mouth to speak, his gaze once again fell on the door.

"Report." A low, slightly lazy voice sounded at the door, and then without a response from the teacher, it entered by itself.

After a shadow covered his light, Gu Mo's thoughts were still thinking about the scene when he appeared at the door.

"He's back." Gu Mo muttered with a slightly pale face, his gaze scattered across the book. He bit his lips tightly, as if he was trying to loosen the nervousness in his heart.

Wan Yanyinye sat down, and when he pulled up a chair, it emitted a "chik" sound, and did not turn his gaze towards himself.

He was a bit unhappy and thought of what his friends said yesterday. It seemed like it wasn't a bad idea to be together with him. After all, he didn't have a girlfriend right now.

Speaking of females, Wan Yanyinye remembered the girl that caused him to be late today. Actually, Wan Yanyinye did not have a deep impression of her, but today, when he was on his way back to class, he had suddenly met her outside.

Wan Yanyinye did not think much into it, and only waited for him to react, his hand already reaching into his own pocket, taking out that handful of candy, holding it in his hand and extending it in front of Gu Mo.

Gu Mo suddenly saw a slender hand in front of him, in it was the candy that only girls would like to eat, he finally raised his head and looked at Wan Yanyinye, somewhat puzzled.

Wan Yanyinye raised his eyebrows, looked at a piece of candy, then slightly raised his chin, indicating for Gu Mo to take it.

Gu Mo did not stay on his face for too long, he retracted his gaze, lightly shook his head, and continued to write in the book.

Actually, as long as Wan Yanyinye took a closer look, he would notice that the hand that held the pen was trembling slightly. The tip of the brush was not writing, it was merely tapping on the book.

"Eat." Wan Yanyinye placed the candy on top of his desk, and his tone of voice contained a force that couldn't be ignored.

When he first came in, he saw that Gu Mo's skin seemed to be slightly pale under the sunlight, even her lips seemed to be indifferent.

Gu Mo put down the pen, and casually picked up a piece of paper. Peeling off the paper, the sugar inside was actually broken into two, and he picked up another half and stuffed it into his mouth.
