They got back and met Evelyn inside the living room.

“Evelyn you are back!” Loveth and ran towards her and hug her. after hugging and greeting each other, they finally remember Sonya was in the room with them.

“yeah right, Evelyn, this is Sonya our new housemate” Loveth introduced. Evelyn access her from head to toe.

“housemate? what none sense are you talking about?” she asked and look at her displeased.

“i called the house owner and she confirmed it’ loveth answered her.

“afternoon to you too” Sonya said and waved her hand towards Evelyn. she ignore her and face loveth.

“give me the house owner’s number, i will talk to her” she said still not pleased.

“i was told that this house is for two people and am meant to have just one roommate but am still not complaining so don’t make it sound like you are the victim here” Sonya said and took a dislike to her already,

“i wasn't talking to you and i have the money to buy the whole house okay” she snapped at her.

“calm down guys okay, there is no need to get worked up on this. am the intruder here” loveth said to placate them both.

"she is the one" they both echo together and Sonya went to her room and shut the door. Evelyn sat down back fuming. loveth sat down beside her.

“Evelyn, am sorry about this”

“what are you sorry for?”

“cause am the one living here freely without paying anything”

“have told you to stop talking like that, and why were you together” loveth explained to her.

“so you got yourself a new friend when i was away right”

“no its not like that, besides she`s a very nice girl and she is very neat”

“yeah i can see that the living room is clean”

“of course how will it be clean if not for her” she said and survey the room

“seriously you shouldn't have reacted like that to her”

“okay whatever, that’s enough talk about her already” Evelyn said and bought out a bag.

“i got this for you”

“Whoa! thank you so much, but wait i thought you said you are never coming back to school here and you were going abroad, what happened?” Evelyn couldn't tell her Maxwell sent her back by force.

“i just decide to come back anyways”

“that's a good decision, i told you that guy is not worth it.” “okay, lets go to my room and talk more”

“Evelyn, are you not done yet? Loveth called again.

“am almost done give me a minute” she answered from her room. just then Sonya also came out.

“Sonya good morning”

“morning” she replied and made to leave the house.

“wait lets leave together" Loveth stopped her and Evelyn came out.

“am ready lets go” she looked over at Sonya and ignored her and they all left the house together. They arrived at their school and Evelyn wave them bye as she turn to her own department but stop at the sight of Zayn.

“Hey” he greeted her. Evelyn keep quiet and Sonya noticed that she seems intimidated. Loveth went to her side immediately like a protective mother.

“long time no see, are you better now?” he said sarcastically. “her well being is non of your business” loveth yelled at him. he ignored her and move closer to Evelyn.

“can we talk”

“don’t come closer” Evelyn said more like a whisper.

he continued to move more closer to her, just then Sonya step in blocking them.

“hey” she said to him and folded her arms.

“who are you?”

“am her girlfriend” Sonya replied him.

“do you know who i am? get out of my way or you would be sorry for yourself”

“i don’t know who you but i know one thing for sure and that is your presence here is not needed" she said daringly

"and i will like if you leave right now. she said raising her voice. zayn laughed sarcastically again and tried to look at Evelyn in the eyes but Sonya blocked him more.

"i will see you later then" he said and walk away.

"are you alright? you look sacred"

"its fine am alright" she said continued walking toward her department.

"take care" loveth said and face Sonya. lets go

“wait! who is that guy?” she asked curiously

“Zayn, he’s her ex boyfriend but they broke up long ago”

“did they break up on a bad ground? There seems to be a kind of tension between them?" she asked again. loveth hesitated for a while.

“i think it will be best if i go now or i will be late for my class” she said and hurried away.

Sonya also went to finish her registration and get her class schedule, after getting it she realized she has a class so she quickly went there but she was already late. she sneaked inside and sat down on the first seat she sighted. "hi, she whispered to the person beside her and find out it was Charles.

“its you!” she exclaimed and quickly covered her mouth.

“do you know me?” Charles asked her.

“no, sorry” she said and faced the lecture. Charles studied her and smiled without realizing it.

“am Charles, can i know your name?” he ask her immediately after the class.

“Sonya” she replied.

“so you are new here right?”

“yes, I was given a late admission” she said as nodded her head.

“you look so young”

"yeah, most people say that”

“so how old are you?” he asked.

“twenty three”

"am twenty five” he said

“so friends?” he ask and stretch out his hand.

“friends” she replied.
