As soon as I stepped out of the tent, I heard that weird sound again.

And after I left the tent, that voice sounded much clearer!

That sound was like something digging into the ground. It was the same sound made by the claws occasionally rubbing against the sand and rocks in the ground. Moreover, every time that sound stopped, there would be the sound of some animal chewing.

Claws
