first book was excellent second was alright, but the china dominance fanfiction that started at the end of the second book and really got going at the start of the third is too much. furthermore the author tried to mix realism and fantasy together, which is fine, but perhaps not base it on current earth with odd twisted facts. it made the reading weird at times and eventually stop even though the books base story and writing were excellent fantasy/china fanfiction.
