Shen Qi's face paled from guilt after hearing Ye Moxuan hit the nail on the head. Her lips trembled, but she didn't know what to say.

"Heh," Ye Moxuan sneered. "So you brought a burden with you. No wonder you were in such a hurry to marry again. You want the Ye family to raise it for you?"​

After finding out she was not the person he was looking for, Ye Moxuan did not feel any pity for Shen Qi.​

Ye Moxuan threw the report in his hand at Shen Qi's face. He glared at her like a vicious snake, his eyes fuming with anger. "The Shen family sure is bold to make me take over their garbage!"

"No, it's not like that!" Shen Qi immediately panicked and explained, "I didn't know that I was pregnant, and neither did the Shen family. I wasn't deliberately trying to hide it from you."

Shen Qi subconsciously refuted, "No-"
