The energy orb descended slowly.

Directly beneath it, a man lay gasping for breath on the ground, a knife wound at his waist and a more prominent one on his head.

Upon closer inspection, it was apparent that the head wound matched the shape of the energy orb exactly.

Evidently, when the energy orb first entered this world, it had struck the man below and merged with his subconscious dreams
