C13 The Past Never Dies.

The audience stared at the arena, amazed at what Pit revealed, leading them to murmur among themselves.

"No way, did she just say what i think she said?"

"How is this possible?"

"That ponytail boy is cornered."

"I-impossible!" Trengal said, "Pit has just revealed that she is capable to nullifying Kan abilities for a few minutes! Who can stand up to this young woman, right here?!"

Back at the audience center, Cloud and many other students stared in shock at what just happened and began to murmur among themselves.

"Have you ever seen or heard of a move like that?"

"She nullified Govo's kan ability? If that's true then there is a high chance that she could beat Karma."

"The rumors are true! Pit has gotten stronger!"

"No way..." Cloud said, "She nullified his Kan ability... How can Govo win against someone like her?"

"He cant." Sting said.

"Govo l-lost to Pit?" Rish asked.

"Hey! Mind if we seat beside you?"A feminine voice asked.

Cloud, Sting and Rish turns and sees the person to be Killer bee, who happened to be smiling while standing beside Karma.

"Oh, it's you, Killer bee... And Karma... In black?" Sting asked with a raised eyebrow, "Why did you change back to black?"

"It's almost the same design of the cloth she wore earlier; Just a few changes which includes the changing of the green to black, that's all." Cloud said.

"Oh, yeah... About that ..." Killer bee said nervously while grinning with her eyes closed.

A flashback occurs earlier as Karma barges into a shop with Killer bee walking after her.

"Karma, calm down!" Killer bee said "Calm down! Calm down! Calm down, Karma!".

"Oh, it's you two from before." The shopkeeper said smiling with his eyes closed, "We're closed but what brings you to my sho-?"

Karma interrupts as she slams her palm on the table in front of the man, shattering it in the process and leaving the man startled

"I want my money back." Karma said with a stern demeanor.

"Come again." The shopkeeper said with a confusion expression.

"What, did i stutter? I said i want my money back." Karma said, "I hate this dress and it makes me feel all icky."

The shopkeeper laughed out calmly while closing his eyes and began to clean his glasses.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, young lady." The shopkeeper said as he puts his glasses back on, "When you bought this cloth, i sold it to you for 40% off the original price; I did something that I've never done for others ... For you, only because you are my first customer from the Dreygar tribe to enter this shop. Even your friend beside you, thought that the dress looks good on you, so I'm sorry, i cannot-"

Karma interrupts the man as she grabs him by his big grey beard and pulls him towards her.

"Listen, old man." Karma said with a cold glare while emitting a red aura, "I don't give a damn what you have to say. If you don't give me back my money, I'm going to rip off your beard and burn this shop down."

"Karma!!" Killer bee said in horror as she walks towards her.

The shopkeeper stretched out his hand towards Bee as a sign of her standing back and resumes staring at Karma.

"Like i said before, i cannot return your money back, after you've worn the cloth that was sold to you for 40% off." The man said with a stoic face, "However, i can do a swapping of a cloth with a design that is almost the same as this one. Do you accept?"

"Yes, i accept." Karma said as her red aura slowly fades away.

"Good. Wait for me at the other room while i find clothes that suit your taste." The shopkeeper said.

Karma walks away from the man and enters a room on the right.

"I'm sorry about her attitude." Killer bee said.

"It's alright." The shopkeeper said, "You know the dress was something i created for my daughter, Kaya; She'd be her age if she was still alive."

"I'm so sorry." Killer bee said with a sad expression.

"It's ok." The shopkeeper replied, "I was quite excited when i sold it to the Dreygar girl because she had a bit of resemblance to my Kaya but her attitude is completely nasty; It makes me wonder how a nice person like you, can be friends with someone like her."

"We were paired together." Killer bee said while facing the ground, "Her attitude can be highly frustrating, most of the times but i try my best to get along with her."

"Well, i hope the relationship between the both of you doesn't break." The shopkeeper said while smiling.

"Thanks!" Killer bee said while smiling.

"Hey! Are you going to keep talking or are you going to show me the dress?!" Karma said from the room.

After recalling that incident, Cloud and Sting stared at Karma with a wtf face.

"She's crazy!" Cloud said within himself.

"She's insane!" Rish said within himself.

"I wonder how he would have looked without the beard.." Sting said within himself.

"Are you going to answer if we can sit beside you or not?" Karma asked while folding her arms.

"Yeah, you can sit." Cloud said.

"Thanks." Killer bee said as her and Karma sits beside Cloud and Sting, "So, what did we miss?"

"Nothing much." Rish said while facing the arena, "Just Pit dominating Govo."

"Huh?" Killer bee and Karma said with a confused expression.

Back at the arena, Govo's body was trembling as he struggled to stand on his feet.

"Unbelievable!" Trengal said, "Even with his Kan ability broken, Govo is still standing on his feet! Govo isn't giving up without a-!"

Govo suddenly bursts out in laughter, leaving the entire audience confused and making Pit to step back a bit.

After Govo had finished laughing, Govo cleans the tears from his eyes and smiles at Pit.

"You really are strong, Pit." Govo said.

"I bend my head in respect towards you." Govo said as he bows before Pit, "You know, this makes me wonder how you even lost to Karma. However... Don't get cocky with me."

Blood suddenly spewed out of Pit's chest as a slash mark appears across her chest, making Pit to step back a bit. Pit became shocked as she spots Govo sitting on the ground with his legs crossed while his right hand was covered in blood, leaving the audience shocked as well.

"W-what just happened?..." Trengal asked with a confused expression.

Govo began to walk towards Pit, causing her to instinctively raise her arms to fight. Pit began to react to multiple invisible attacks, leaving her to gasp in pain and fall on one knee.

Pit's eyes rolls back and spots Govo, far behind her with his arms folded while looking up to the sky.

Pit tries to get up but Govo's eyes quickly rolls towards her and she began to react to invisible attacks again, leading her to fall on her knees and cough out blood.

"I don't understand what is going on!!" Trengal said, "I thought Pit broke Govo's kan ability?! So why is he still moving fast?!!!"

Back at the audience center, the crowds began to murmur among themselves concerning what just happened.

"What's going on?"

"His Kan ability is broken, so how is he still able to move?"

"This doesn't make any sense!"

"Hoh? So that's what's going on." Chief Tenya said while folding her arms.

"It would seem that Govo has become completely serious." Chief Miza said.

"Indeed." Chief Akuro said, " When the match first started, Govo was messing around until he saw how strong she is, then he became a bit serious and used his soul drive. However, he still wasn't showcasing his true speed, but now that she has broken his Kan ability, he has no choice but to use his true base speed, which seems too much for Pit to handle.

This shows that if Govo had fought with his full power from the very beginning, using his true speed and his true soul drive speed, he would have ended this match a long time ago. What do you think, Chief Ezgord?"

Chief Ezgord, however, ignores Chief Akuro's question and was still facing the arena.

Govo began to walk towards Pit, again and quickly vanishes from the arena, making Pit to instinctively raise her arms to guard; However, Pit found herself high in the air and spots Govo in the air with her.

Govo smirks at Pit and began to attack her from different directions.

"Kintokoon!" Govo said as the speed of his movements rapidly increases, creating black-red tower in the arena.

"What the-! Where did this tower come from?!!"

"That ponytail boy is so fast! His afterimages has created a tower!!" A Tenplar female from the audience said in shock.

"Incredible!" Tenplar male said.

"This isn't looking good for the girl." Another Tenplar male said while folding his arms.

The tower suddenly disperses, leaving a bloodied and unconscious Pit to fall from the sky while the audience stared with disbelief.

"Is this it? Is this how i go down?" Pit asked within herself while falling, "I swore to become stronger so that what happened before won't repeat itself..."

Pit recalls as she laid face flat on the ground, with blood flowing from her body as Karma coldly glares at the unconscious Pit.

"I entered this tournament for two reasons: One was to fulfill my promise of becoming a Pilgrim and the other was to get my hands on that crazy Dreygar girl; Until I've fulfilled these two, losing is not an option for me. No... I refuse!!"

Pit vanishes in mid air, right before Govo could punch her; Govo began to react to multiple invisible hits and was instantly engulfed within a large blue ball. The blue ball disperses and Pit quickly lands a hardcore kick on Govo, driving him straight to the ground which created a smokescreen and left the audience surprised with they've just witnessed.

"UNBELIEVABLE!!" Trengal said, "Pit was able to copy Govo's true speed and moved so fast that her afterimages created a blue ball!! This is incredible!!!"

Pit began to breath heavily as she turned to face Govo who happened to be laying on the ground.

"Even when i used my true speed, you were still able to adapt and copy me, huh." Govo said with a smile while still laying on the ground, "You really have gotten stronger, Pit. I hope you win this tournament. You deserve it."

Govo falls unconscious after his speech and Pit nods her head while smiling with her eyes closed.

"Govo is out!! Pit of the Ripar tribe, has won the first round!!!" Trengal said.

The crowd gave a massive roar and Pit raised her fist in the air.

"You really are strong, Govo." Pit said within herself, "You have gained my full respect. May we fight again someday."

Back at the audience center, a Ripar female's hands were shaking as she slightly bends her head while tears were slowly flowing from her eyes.

"You hesitated at the last moment before she attacked, didn't you, Govo?" The woman asked within herself.

A flashback occurs minutes earlier when Pit was still unconscious and falling from the sky; Govo, who was about to punch her, halts and stares at the bloodied Pit as he recalls the 6 year old him, staring in horror at a bloodied woman on the ground.

"Mother..." Govo said.

After recalling that moment, Govo's mother clenched her fists as her tears increased.

"Your father has been missing for years and i overused my soul drive to the point it damaged my legs, even the physicians made it clear that it could have killed me and I'm just lucky to be alive." Govo's mother said within herself, "Leorona of the Tenplar tribe, couldn't be contacted for years. Even though i was using the wheelchair created by the Keigra tribe, you still took it upon yourself to become a pilgrim and find a way to fix my legs so that I'll be able to walk again.

To think that my condition would affect you to this point... I'm so sorry ... I'm so sorry for being a burden onto you; For barely being there when you needed me the most. You've been so focused on my pain that you've been running from yours and I'm sorry about everything.

Please... Forgive me, Govo"

Meanwhile Cloud and the other students, who had just witnessed what happened, began to murmur among themselves.

"Incredible! Did you see what just happened?"

"Govo lost to Pit?! No way!"

"Regardless of who won and who lost, it was a good fight."

"Wow, Pit has improved." Killer bee said while smiling.

"Yeah, she has truly risen, hasn't she, Cloud?" Sting asked.

"Yeah, She has..." Cloud said, "They were both incredible but yet... I feel as if something went wrong in their fight."

"Hm?" Rish, Sting and Killer bee said as they turned to look at Cloud.

Back at the arena, Pit locks eyes with Karma from the audience center and smiles.

"Not yet..." Pit said within herself.
