I kept to myself the entire evening that day.

I stayed in my room and didn’t get out of it, until dinner time.

I was worried sick about what was going down tomorrow.

And no matter how many promises Alex makes to me, and how confident he sounds about his plan, it’s still not enough to calm me down or reassure me.

I was sure I will remain like this until it’s all over
