C17 You Are Perfect

17.

Rifki entered the room where his wife had been living all this time. He looked around, looked around the room measuring about 5 x 7 square meters which was quite comfortable to live in. The typical female pink nuance dominated the room. Starting from the wallpaper to the bed that wass the same color with elongated white cabinets and other knick-knacks as a sweetener of the same color.

Mesya came out of the kitchen with a tray containing a cup of brewed instant coffee along with some snacks. "Don't bother, honey." Rifki said, which looked funny in Mesya's eyes.

His warm and kind treatment made Mesya flattered and fell in love. Nothing wrong with choosing Rifki to be her husband. In Mesya's eyes, Rifki was perfect.

"Just a coffee."

"Here, sit down." Rifki patted the place beside him.

Mesya immediately understood and obeyed what her husband ordered.

"I miss you." Mesya just sat down, the man turned around and hugged his wife and hugged her tightly.

"Your mind was always like that, you said you wanted to help me work on the thesis." Mesya pouted, pinching Rifki's hand in exasperation until the man groaned and laughed.

"That's easy, what's important now is to help me first."

"Okay, let's be both lucky we do both." Mesya raises and lowers her eyebrows making Rifki look at her full.

"What do you mean?" Rifki's brows furrowed, not understanding what his wife meant when she brought a small table and laptop on it. Then he began to understand what his wife meant.

Mesya also handed over a thesis sheet which had been crossed out in red by the lecturer at her campus.

"Try now, check and tell me where the fault lies, while I will massage you so that you were more relaxed and enthusiastic." Mesya said while blinking spoiled like the one that was going viral on the t*k tok application.

Rifki laughed seeing Mesya sitting behind him and started massaging his shoulders. But of course with a movement that was not too agile. Instead of feeling comfortable with the massage, he actually felt a little sweaty due to the gentle caresses on several parts of his body, including blowing the nape of his neck. Apparently his wife was deliberately teasing him.

"I could not focus, something will wake up later," Rifki while focusing on staring at his laptop and seeing some mistakes made by his wife in writing the thesis.

"You're used to working checking files at the office, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?"

"Yes, but your hands must not go anywhere. I feel hot." Rifki reacted by waving his hand in front of him. Even though the room was equipped with air conditioning which was quite cold.

"Come here and see, this is not right and this is not interesting." Rifki explained some of the notes written by Mesya and found out where the error was.

Both of them were engrossed in passing the time while discussing the tasks they should be able to do on their own. When Ashar call to prayer sounded, the man was forced to leave because the office needed him. The secretary called several times to ask him to come to the office quickly. Working as President Director in a company owned by his wife's family, did not necessarily make Rifki acted arbitrarily all that time. But it had been a few days since he married Mesya, he actually broke a few rules.

After spending almost two hours in the office, Rifki finally returned to his house, where Resha was immediately greeted in his room in a state that did not look good.

"Where have you been, Rifki?" Resha asked coldly when her husband untied his tie and put his briefcase in the special cupboard where his belongings were stored.

"You're weird, Resha. You came from the office, you saw for yourself earlier." Rifki smiled as he approached his wife who was staring blankly at the balcony.

Resha's hands clenched tightly with gritted teeth smelling the smell of her husband's lies. Resha almost cursed harshly and cursed from her mouth. But she endured it and just kept it to herself, when she saw Rifki enter the walk-in closet and come out again already wearing shorts and a casual t-shirt.

"So unusual you are at home, Res," Rifki said while sitting right next to his wife and then grabbed a drink that seemed to belong to Resha. Trending cold drinks were viral and were being loved by young people. "And you bought unusual modern drinks and you usually don't like sweet things either." Rifki looked back at his wife who did not answer.

"It's up to me what I want, don't ever control me," Resha said coldly.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. It looks like you're in your PMS, right, the tone is very different to your husband," Rifki said, seeing the changes in his wife's face.

Just like earlier when the woman came to the office and asked him to lunch, but cancelled.

Rifki kissed his wife's forehead softly then went into the bathroom to perform ablution followed by a cynical look from his wife. A moment later the man was back with his face and hands wet in several places. Rifki held a prayer rug and started praying after not having time to do it because he was in a hurry to go to the office.

After all, when he came home from Mesya's house, it coincided with the call to prayer when he was on the road. And now it was almost too late.

Resha who saw it was surprised, just then the man was still wearing the same clothes when he left for work. Then he was praying and Rifki's hair looked dry. Did that mean her mind was misunderstood?

Resha weighed the hearts and minds that were not in line. She took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. 'Am I overthinking?' she mumbled softly, smacking her forehead.

"Oh my God, I'm going to be crazy with all of this." Resha shook her head repeatedly to get rid of the bad thoughts in her mind.

Elsewhere, Mesya smiled with satisfaction after reassembling the composition of her thesis to be handed back to her lecturer. Hopefully this time her efforts would be successful and she could continue the trial without fear of making mistakes.

Her husband was reliable. She finally returned to her sister's apartment to stay there. That afternoon, she had a chance to ask Alin how she was, to which her sister immediately answered that she was fine. And that made Mesya's heart much calmer.

"You've come, Mey," Alin said, who was sitting in a wheelchair. The woman looked beautiful with a light brush of powder and lip gloss on her slightly thin and pale lips.

"You're really beautiful today," Mesya said.

"Nah, I don't think so. It's like I used to," Alin said while touching her cheek, feeling embarrassed because her sister found out.

"Or you might already be beautiful from the start?" Mesya hugged her sister from behind and kissed her hair softly. To be honest, Mesya was afraid of losing her only sister. Her gaze shifted to the table in front of her.

"Was there a guest, Sis?" Mesya asked curiously to see the coffee cup and snack jar there whose top was not completely closed.

"Oh, th-that's...." Like hesitating to answer, Alin looked embarrassed to see Mesya's gaze. She wanted to answer honestly, but would her sister understand if she was told about who was coming, and Alin was honestly afraid if her sister found out about her in the past.

"It's okay if you don't want to answer, but it looks like you have a boyfriend, huh..." Mesya said, smiling mischievously at her sister.

"You're a naughty." Alin pinched her sister's hand which was still wrapped around her neck.

The smell of medicine did not stop Mesya from holding her sister from behind. To be honest, the woman was very afraid of losing her sister because she had refused to do the operation. But grateful for the help from her husband Rifki, so that the operation could be carried out properly and hopefully that the results would be better and make her sister recover. She would do anything for her sister's treatment even with his life, because Alin was all she had in this world. At night.

That day, Rama continued to feel annoyed and angered in his room. He vented his frustration by destroying all the furniture in his room. He still clearly remembered how intimate Mesya was with the man she called her boss, even though it was clear that Rama knew that his girlfriend was not working. But, God was too good to him, by showing Mesya's true nature behind him which at the same time managed to break his heart.
