TAYLOR'S POV

Later that day Mr Brown summoned us all to the auditorium to announce the winners of the science competition

Tyler and Freddy took the first place while Jayden and Steph (a classmate of ours)took second place. I'm very much thankful that Zoi isn't gonna be in school for the whole week, which means we're not gonna be having much problems for this week and she sure would have been a pain in the butt for Marisa, speaking of Risa I know I really should help her outta this shit she put herself into but I seriously don't know how

I kinda suspected from the start that she just had a mere infatuation but I had my doubt and now my doubts have backfired

PARKER'S POV

I noticed Marisa behavior, she was kinda off this weekend, it wasn't like the others and she hardly even laughed.

I know I'm kind of a doughbag and all of that but I still worry about my Sis, so whenever she returns I'll ask her what's up with her. Just as soon as I was done thinking, the front door opened and she walked in with the same sad face plastered on her face (great, the universe was listening to me all this while)

"Mari what's up, I noticed you've not been yourself lately, anything bothering you?"

"Nope, don't worry about me and where's Mum" she threw back a question

"She went for grocery shopping, now back to my question..." I was about talking but was cut mid sentence by her aggressive tone

"I said I'm fine okay, nothing to worry about, please let me be" she said and was about walking upstairs but I interrupted

"Well I'm just asking okay, there's no reason to bite"

TYLER'S POV

I woke up earlier than usual today so I decided to do an early work out to clear things off my head before going to school.

Thirty minutes later I returned back home and met Ma'm Suzy serving Emily breakfast, she was already dressed for school

"Oh welcome back sir, go take a shower and prepare, your food is all set " Ma'm Suzy said when she opened the door and parted way for me

"I've always told you not to call me sir, you're old enough to be my Mum and my Mum doesn't refer to me as 'Sir' "

"But sir, its my duty, if I don't add the 'Sir' to your name it would seem disrespectful" she said with her head bent downwards

"Well I command you not to call me Sir again, rather call me Tyler understood?"

"Yes Si... Oh sorry Tyler" I chuckled a little cause of her mistake and went upstairs to my ensuite wash off my sweaty body

After my warm bath I felt alot better, so I went to get dressed.

I wore a white tee-shirt with black skinny pants and a pair of brown boots with my black jacket to go with

"I'm all set"

I later left for school after taking a little portion of my breakfast

Later that day, as I walked through the hallway leading to the garden I thought about what Fred said about forgetting the past and moving on

About getting a girlfriend, I've really considered it but still I'm not ready to get hurt like my previous relationship, not that I'm scared or something but I'm still looking for the right one, the one I know I can trust and love, the one that won't cheat on me or leave me for anyone else

Speaking of looking, I've been watching that girl (the one I saved from falling the other day) closely, she's a really cool person though and I got to find out her name's Marisa, just that I don't know how her personality is, if only I could have an opportunity to get to know her better.

My thoughts got interrupted by a voice coming from the garden, actually a singing voice to be precise, once I glanced out I got shocked, holy hell it was her

*I've finally found the perfect opportunity* I thought inwardly

I walked towards her

"Hey" I said which drew her attention and she glanced up and said a cm"Hi"

"Can I seat" I asked cause she was seated on one of the bench in the garden

"Sure, why not" she adjusted a bit

"So... Ummmm, what are doing here if I may ask?" I asked with my voice as calm as ever, for the past few days we've been clashing often

"Was bored in class, cause it's kinda a free period so i came down here to lighten up my mood, what about you? " she directed my question back

"Oh, pretty much nothing, I was just walking down the hallway, when I heard a voice singing in the garden and on reaching here, I found out it was you " I explained

"So I decided to come say hi"

"Okay, nice story" she chuckled a bit

"I love your voice by the way, it's really beautiful" I gave her the compliment that was buried inside me

"Ok, so I have an offer for you"

"Which happens to be?" She encouraged so I went on

"I would tutor you in music for some time, so you'll improve on your vocals and I'm not asking for anything in return" I said with a lopsided smile

"But I'm not really offering music in school, so why the offer?" She asked an adjusted a bit on the bench

"Oh Marisa you really love questions don't you? and yeah I just wanna show my kind geatures nothing more"

"You know my name?" She asked surprised with a widened eye

"Of cause I do, I get to know the name of whoever I want"

"Ok fine, when and where would the tutoring take place?"

"after school meet me at the music studio behind the auditorium, starting tomorrow" I said hastily without giving her a chance to back out of it, cause I really needed this opportunity, like the old saying goes 'opportunity comes, but once' so I had to make good use of mine
