C11 Chapter 10

May ilang sandaling nakaawang ang bibig ko dahil sa naging rebelasyon ni Zadriel. Kumurap-kurap ako, hindi agad lubos na matanggap ang sinabi niya.

"N-Naging si Kuya at Alexi?"

"Yeah," he drawled lazily. "You sound so surprised."

"Because I am!"

Hindi ako nagulat na naging si Zadriel at Alexi. Maliit ang mundo, ang mga ganoong pangyayari ay hindi na nakakapagtaka. What surprised me even more was my brother and Alexi had a thing. Kailan pa?

Kaya ba ganoon na lang kasungit ang kapatid ko sa kanya sa tuwing aksidenteng magkikita sila? Everytime we have a dinner with the Ravena's, my brother seems to have his own world where nobody exist. Ni hindi niya magawang ngumiti. Akala ko ay talagang wala lang siya sa hulog. Ngayon ay alam ko na kung bakit. There seems to be a bitter past from them.

"Your brother seems to be too secretive. No wonder." Zadriel said that cut me out from my train of thoughts.

I sighed. "So what happened? Bakit pinatulan mo pa rin si Alexi gayong alam mo naman pala na sila ng kapatid ko?"

He chuckled. "Why so serious now, Tate?"

"Well, it's not really funny to hear that. Kaya naman pala ganoon katindi ang galit sa'yo ni kuya. Naiputan sa ulo!"

"Galit ka na niyan?" he asked, playfulness can be heard through his raspy voice.

Natawa ako sa tono ng boses niya. I can visualize him smirking, sexily biting his red lips while looking into somewhere else. Sa sandaling panahon na nakilala ko si Zadriel, madali para sa akin ang sauluhin ang pisikal na katangian niya. A face that handsome and appealing isn't that easy to forget.

"I-kwento mo na kasi! I'm sure your past doesn't affect you anymore since you're already in a relationship with Dianara."

"Hmm, of course." he drawled lazily like this topic is already out of his interest anymore.

"Then tell me the whole story now!"

Isang mababaw na buntong hininga ang pinakawalan niya bago siya nagsalita.

"Magkita tayo bukas kung ganoon."

Bahagyang tumaas ang kilay ko. "Bakit?"

"You want to hear the whole story, right? Then I'll let you hear it."

"Why need to see each other personally? Puwede namang dito mo na lang sabihin."

He let out an audible smirk. "Take it or leave it, Tate. Your choice."

Iku-kwento lang kailangan pa magkita? Puwede naman ngayon niya na sabihin dito sa telepono. May demonstration pa atang magaganap.

Hindi na ako nakaangal pa. Maaga pa lang ay nagkita na kami ni Zadriel sa tapat ng isang coffee shop. As soon as I got out of the driver's seat, Zadriel opened his car door and walked out of it, too. Wearing a plain black vneck shirt and dark denim jeans, he looks like a popular GQ model who never runs out of offers from big companies.

Gwapo na. Mas lalo pang gumwapo.

Sumandal ako sa gilid ng kotse at pinagkrus ang mga braso ko, inaantay siyang makalapit sa akin. The moment our eyes locked with each other, a playful smirk broke across his lips.

Ngumiwi ako. Nang makarating sa harapan ko ay huminto siya at bahagyang dumukwang. He planted a feathery kiss on my cheek and stared intently into my eyes.

"Good to see you again, Tate." he said, voice so low and deep.

Ngumisi ako. "We've just seen each other last night."

Zadriel sneered back, a bit ruthless and taunting. He tilted his head and flicked his tongue over his red lips.

"Really? Felt like forever, huh?"

Umangat ang sulok ng labi ko, nakikipagsukatan ng titig sa kanya. I can always stare into someone's eyes without feeling conscious and Zadriel isn't an exemption.

"So what is this meet up all about?" I asked between my smirk. "Bukod sa sasabihin mo sa akin ang tungkol sa nakaraan niyo nila Alexi at Kuya."

Umayos siya ng tayo. He slid his hand inside his denim pocket and lean the other one against the roof of my car. Sa bawat galaw na pinapakawaan niya ay nagiging dahilan lang para malanghap ko ang preskong amoy niya. His scent was a mixture of after shave and musk.

"Come with me..." he demanded.

"Where are we going?"

He tilted his head and slouched a bit. He moved his closer to mine that I can even smell his bubble mint breath.

"Heaven..." he breathed.

Natawa ako. "Such a tease."

"Just like you, huh?"

My brow arched up. "I am not teasing you."

His lips twitched. "You are, baby. Your lips are teasing me."

With that, he crashed his lips against mine and gave it a one swift chasely kiss. Napapikit ako roon ngunit agad rin nagmulat nang maramdaman ko ang pagkakabitaw ng labi niya mula sa akin. Naglapat ang mga mata namin. Lust can be seen in his eyes and I'm sure he is mirroring mine.

"We're in the middle of the fucking road, asshat." I murmured.

He chuckled and then licked his lip. "Sorry. Can't help it."

Napailing ako sa kapilyuhan niya. Hindi ko alam pero kumportable talaga ako sa ganitong paguugali ni Zadriel. I am starting to like the natural wildness in him. I find comfort knowing that we have the same attitude. Nasasakyan niya ang kalokohan ko, ganoon rin ako sa kanya. We have the same beliefs in life which makes me like him even more.

But that's it. That is just how it's going to be. I like him as a buddy and not anything else.

Sa huli, pumayag rin akong sumama kay Zadriel kahit pa hindi naman niya sinasabi kung saan talaga kami pupunta. I left my car in the coffee shop's parking lot and rode in his own car. Mabuti na lang at wala naman gaanong trabaho ngayon sa opisina kaya ayos lang na mawala ako kahit na ilang oras.

"Saan ba kasi talaga tayo pupunta? At saka iyong kwento mo, nasaan na?" busangot na tanong ko saka siya nilingon.

Zadriel looks so cool driving only with his right hand. His left hand was resting above his leg, drumming his finger against it. I'm sure that he's enjoying the music that's being played on the player.

"You can't seem to forget about it." he said.

I folded my arms over my chest and looked beside me. Pinanood ko ang mga gusaling ultimo nakikipagsabayan sa tulin ng sinasakyan namin.

"I know how playful my brother can get. I've seen him play fire with tons of women but I never expected that Alexi would be one of them. Suplado kaya iyon kapag nakakasama namin sila!" nakangusong sagot ko.

"Zarinna wasn't just one of your brother's women, Tate. He was serious about her."

I sighed. It's really surprising that two had a thing before. Ni hindi kababakasan ng kahit anong motibo si Kuya Tobias tungkol kay Alexi. Kung naging sila man, bakit hindi nia sinabi sa parents namin? Why did they keep it as a secret? And why did they break up?

"Bakit sila naghiwalay? Dahil sa'yo?" tanong ko at nilingon siya.

He shot me a quick glance before returning it to the road again. The rays of the sun are hitting some parts of his face that made me see how Adonis-like he is.

His protruding nose. Well maintained beard that looks so soft even if we're meters away from each other. Well, it's really soft since I love caressing it whenever he's glorifying my body. And his eyes... his pair of stormy eyes that would make every women stop on their tracks just by looking at them.

"Yeah..."

He chuckled.

"Let them tell their own story since they are the main characters there..." He then suddenly brought his hand on my thigh and caressed it gently. I am wearing a dress so it isn't hard for him to get a stroke on my skin. "The traffic is killing me."

Bumaba ang tingin ko sa kamay niya. His huge but slender fingers were complimenting with my fair complexion. Marahan akong nag angat ng tingin sa kanya. Ngumisi ako.

Pagkasabi niya no'n ay luminga-linga ako sa paligid. I saw the traffic light timer and found that there's still 68 seconds left before the green light becomes activated. Ibinalik ko ang tingin kay Zadriel na nakatitig sa akin.

Sabay kaming napalingon sa gilid namin nang bumungad ang isang mukha ng traffic enforcer na bahagyang kumakatok sa salamin ng bintana. Nanglalaki ang mga mata kong napabaling kay Zadriel at walang isang salitang umalis sa kandungan niya. I went back to my seat and fixed my underwear as well as my dress. Maging si Zadriel ay mabilis ang naging galaw. After zipping his pants, he put his seat back to its position.

Good thing the windows are tinted!

Breathing rapidly, I watched how Zadriel press a button that made the window roll down. Ang kunot na noo at iritadong reaksyon ng matandang traffic enforcer and sumalubong sa amin.

"Ser, may problema po ba? Nakakaabala na po kasi tayo sa daan. Marami na po ang sasakyan na nagrereklamo dahil nasa mismong gitna po kayo." aniya at tumingin sa akin. Ngumiti ako sa kanya, umastang walang kalokohang ginawa.

"Experienced a bit of engine malfunction but everything's alright. Sorry for the trouble." Zadriel said smoothly.

Tumango ang matanda, halatang hindi kumbinsido sa rason ni Zadriel ngunit nagawa rin namang tumango. Sumaludo pa nga.

"Sige, Ser. Ingat po kayo ni Ma'am."

Zadriel nodded and I only smiled. Without a word, he maneuvered the steering wheel and drove out, leaving the poor traffic enforcer alone.

Nang bahagya nang makalayo ay nagkatinginan kami. We both laughed at our craziness. I raised my hand for a fist bump. With a smirk on his face, he shook his head and bump his fist on mine, too.

"Damn, woman. Don't expect me to kill the fire first cause I'm enjoying playing it with you..." he uttered meaningfully and sighed. "There's no doubt, Tate. You're making this game really exciting."
