Meeting Another Scumbag

Since he already put it like that, Sonia knew that she should behave. No matter what, she should not make Ryan angry.

She could only say with indignation,

"She said that she was going to come here to pick you up. Why isn't she here now?" Sonia asked Ryan.

"She'll be here. Let's wait!" Ryan said. He trusted in the fact that Scarlett was head over heels in love with her. She was definitely going to come.

Scarlett was rushing to the airport. She was finally going to see Ryan after a few weeks. She was really happy and excited. She believed that she would be able to prove to her father that Ryan would definitely be able to make it big if he was given the chance.

Kyle looked around the airport . He smirked when he saw the men the in black suits looking around alertly. He could tell that they were here for him.

He knew that his father had sent some men to come pick him up. But he did not want to go with him.

He was already irritated by the fact that he had to come back to this place even though he did not want to. Besides, he is still angry with his father because of what he did to him back then.

Even though he knew that it was childish, Kyle really wanted to piss his father off.

He decided that he won't go with those bodyguards. He wanted his father to feel a sense of panic. Does he think that he is still that kid that he can do whatever he wants with his life?

Kyle was determined to show his father this time that he could make the decisions in his life now.

Before, he did not have the resources to do that. Now that he has the resources, there is no way that he is going to back down the will definitely show his father that he already changed a lot.

Kyle brought out his black sunglasses and a face cap. When he wore it, it made it difficult for someone to see his face.

Satisfied with the effect that his "disguise" gave him, Kyle walked out of the airport confidently.

But it seemed that he had underestimated the guards that his father found this time. He has barely taken a few steps out of the airport when they noticed him.

Kyle knew that he had been spotted when they kept looking at him and advancing closer.

Kyle cursed under his breath. He knew that they were going to catch up to him really soon if he kept up with this. He did not want that to happen.

He increased his steps. The guards after him were sure now that Kyle is the person they were supposed to pick up.

They had heard from thier boss that Kyle could be mischevious and tricky and that they should not fall for his tricks so they were prepared.

Immediately they saw Kyle pick up his steps, they were sure that it was him.

But because they were in a airport and they did not want yo cause an uproar in a public place, they tried not to make a big deal out of it.

"Young Master....Young Master ...." The guards called out but Kyle did not have any intentions of stopping at him. He walked faster.

He smirked when he saw some people up ahead. It seemed that some celebrity had returned from overseas today and fans were waiting for thier idol.

Kyle immediately blended with the crowd. He knew that the guards would find him soon and he had limited time on his hand so he found a way to leave the airport through the back.

Kyle breathed in relief when he finally got out. But he was happy too soon.

The guards were soon looking for him. The parking lot was quite big and it would be some time before they found him but Kyle was sure that they were going to find him soon.

He looked around, thinking about what he should do to avoid those people.

Just then, he saw a woman stop her car and walk out. Kyle made a decision then. He had to escape those people.

Scarlett was already quite late when she got to the airport because of traffic. She was rushing to meet Ryan hoping that he won't be mad that she was late.

She kept calling him to tell him that she was going to take some time but no matter how many times she called, it didn't go through.

What Scarlett did not know was that Sonia was currently holding Ryan's phone and blocking all incoming calls from Scarlett. So no matter how times she called, no one picked up.

Scarlett was starting to get frustrated so she didn't look where she was going.

Immediately she got down from her car,she attempted to dash into the airport but she crashed into someone.

Scarlett immediately apologized. "I'm sorry. I'm really sir. I'm in a hurry so...." Scarlett who was still apologizing did not notice the glint that flashed past Kyle's eyes.

Kyle looked back and saw that the guards were about to notice him.

He immediately grabbed Scarlett's shoulder.

Scarlett was horrified. Who is this person?

"Hey who are you! What are you doing?" Scarlett asked. She had always been aversed to the touches of strangers.

"You are sorry right? Pay me back like this" Kyle declared.

Before Scarlett could process what was happening, the man was already leaning in on her.

He pushed her back and her back hit the body of her car.

Scarlett was stupified.

"You.. let go of me...hmmmm...." Scarlett did not get to finish her words before she felt the man's thin lips crash down on hers.

Scarlett felt the circuits in her brain go bonkers then. She just bumped into someone and apologized, why on Earth is this person kissing her right now?

Scarlett tried to push the man away but she soon found out that she was no match for him. No matter how much she pushed and resisted, he just refused to let go of her.

Scarlett eyes were almost brimming with tears now.

Kyle's lips remained on hers.

The guards finally got to where Scarlett and Kyle was. Because Kyle's face was hidden while kissing Scarlett, they is no know that it was him.

The guards had no other choice but to give up and go back.

Kyle saw from the corner of his eyes that the guards were gone.

He finally released Scarlett.

"I....

SMACK!

A loud slap was heard.

Sonia was already getting frustrated. "Clearly, she doesn't want to come. Anyway, why will the daughter of a billionaire come here to pick us up? She has already been used to people waiting on her. Of course, she's not going to care about the both of us. Let's just leave!" Sonia said

She did not say it but she was happy that Scarlett did not show up after all. If Scarlett was here, she woke be able to spend time with Ryan. If if she did not show up, she could go to Ryan's place and spend time with him....of course that would be great. She had to convince Ryan to leave so that the both of them could be together without disturbance from that woman!

"Let's just leave Ryan. She clearly isn't coming. Can't you see for yourself?" Sonia asked him.

Ryan pursed his lips. He was clearly upset. He said that she was coming, then why did she not show up? Did something happen to her?

"Let's just wait for a bit. You know how Scarlett is. If she says that she is coming then she is definitely going to come. Maybe something held her up" Ryan said. He did not want to leave without seeing Scarlett come to pick him up like she said that she would.

Sonia was angry when she heard this. She could see that Ryan was upset. She had been with him for so long. Of course, she could tell when he was upset. Why would he be upset that Scarlett did not come to see him? Didn't he say that he doesn't have any feelings for Scarlett? Didn't he say that she is the one that he loves? Then why would he be mad when she doesn't come to pick him up? What kind of plot twist is this?

"So what if she doesn't come? It's clear that she doesn't think much of you. After all, she is the daughter of a billionaire and you are just running a small company, of course she is not going to pay attention to the both of us!" Sonia said.

She really hated the fact that Scarlett could get everything without having to work for it just because she had a rich father. She had everything delivered to her on a platter of gold because of her father. It's all because of her father that she is dating Ryan now. She really hated Scarlett for that!
