Catching A Scumbag

"I have Ryan! Dad, how can you force me to get married to someone that I don't even know? Don't you care about my feelings? Dad, you know that I have someone that I love and yet you are forcing me to marry someone that I don't even know! Does this even make any sense at all!" Scarlett continued to yell. She was so agitated.

She was already upset enough from bumping into that person and not getting to Ryan before she left and now she comes home to this horrible news! How could she not lose control of herself?

"Ryan?! Do you really think that that guy loves you Scarlett? I've sent people to check up on him and I know that he's only using you. He doesn't love you as much as you think! Everything is just your wishful thinking!" James yelled. Because he was agitated when he saw Scarlett over reacting, he yelled at her. Something that he normally would not do matter what.

"Dad! How can you say that about Ryan?! We've known each other for ten years and we've been dating for seven years! We love each other a lot!" Scarlett argued. She would never believe it. She would never believe it when people told her that Ryan was using her.

Just because he isn't as rich as her father doesn't mean that he is using her! And by the way, he is already working very hard for the both of them!

He set up his own company and has been working hard constantly because of the both of them. How can her father say that he doesn't love her?!

James shook his head. He felt like it was completely his fault. His daughter has been spoiled silly by him and she doesn't have a single idea on how heartless people can be.

When he first found out that his daughter was seeing someone, he had hired people to look him up. He knew that that Ryan isn't a decent person at all! There is no way that he'll ever let his daughter be with someone like that!

"Whatever Scarlett! I don't care what you say. You'll be getting married. I can't let my daughter be married to someone like that boyfriend of yours! Kyle will be here tommorow and you had better be prepared!" James said with a stern look on his face.

Scarlett wanted to argue further but when she saw the look on her father's face, she swallowed back all the words that she wanted to say.

She knew that he had already made up his mind and he won't change it.

Fine, since he already set his mind on her getting married she will just have to find a different way to deal with this. She definitely won't get forced into a marriage!

Scarlett stomped her way to her room and shut the door loudly behind her as some form of protest.

She locked the door immediately she was in. Then she brought out her phone and dailed a number.

"Hey Michelle. It's me. I need your help" Scarlett said when the call went through.

"Scarlett? What does the Billionaire's daughter need a commoner like me for?" Michelle asked.

"I'm getting married!" Scarlett blurted out.

"What?! Scarlett, you need to think twice about this. Ryan isn't a good person! You should think twice about your relationship with him!" Michelle said.

Scarlett groaned in frustration. Why is everyone so against her and Ryan?

"It's not him!" Unfortunately.

"What?! That's good then! Tell me, who is the lucky person!" Michelle asked.

."Michelle!" Scarlett yelled.

Michelle who was on the other side of the phone was stunned.

"What Scarlett?"

"I don't want to get married! My dad is forcing me to get married! How can he expect me to get married just because he says so? No matter what, I don't want to! I don't want to get married!" Scarlett continued to complain on the phone.

"Oh ..." Michelle let out a stand.

"But what do you need my help for Scarlett? I can't convince your father for you and you know it" Michelle said.

"That's not what I want. My father won't force me to get married if the other party doesn't want to right?" Scarlett asked rhetorically.

Michelle was starting to get suspicious. What is Scarlett getting up to this time? "Scarlett, what crazy plan do you have in mind?" She asked.

"Not much. I just need you to spread a few rumours about me" Scarlett said. There was a sinister grin on her face.

"What?!" Now Michelle was sure that Scarlett has lost her mind!

"You want me to spread rumours about you?" Michelle repeated to be sure.

"Yes....some pretty terrible rumours....so the other won't want to have anything to do with someone like me..." Scarlett said.

Michelle was sure that Scarlett was really going all out this time. She was even fearlessly tarnishing her own reputation so that she doesn't get to be married to someone else!

"But Scarlett..." Michelle tried to argue.

"Please Michelle. Do this for me. Do this for our friendship. Would you be comfortable to your friend getting married off like this? I don't want to! I really don't want to!" Scarlett said. She w as whining now.

Michelle could never stand the sound of Scarlett whining to her.

"Alright fine. I'll help you. But who exactly is this person?"

"Oh I don't know. Some guy. His father is supposed to be a really close friend of my father. And my dad said that he was recently discharged from the Army Oh, I heard my father say that his name is Kyle!" Scarlett reported to her friend.

Michelle was speechless. How on Earth is she supposed to find someone with this kind of discription?

But wait, a close friend of her fathers? Discharged from the army?

As a reporter, Michelle had access to some information. She knew who the closets friends of Scarlett's father were.

Right now, she could only think of one person when she thought of the Army. Other than that Kyle, who else could it be?

Michelle sighed. This should be tough.

"Fine. I'll do it" Michelle agreed. She would sacrifice for the sake of thier friendship. It should not be too hard right?

"Thanks Michelle. I knew that you were the only one who will help me!" Scarlett said. She was so excited. She would see if that person would still want anything to do with her once those rumours get out!

"But.. what rumours do you want me to spread?" Michelle asked.

A sinister smile spread on Scarlett's face. "oh nothing much. It's simple. Just find a way to let people know that I've gone crazy!" Scarlett ordered.

She would see what man wanted to marry a mad woman!

Immediately she was done talking to Michelle, she called Ryan. She had to talk to him ASAP.

Thankfully this time, the call went through. Scarlett did not give him the chance to say anything immediately he picked up. She instantly went to the point.

"Ryan.. I need to see you. It's really important!" Scarlett said. She had to tell him about this completely ridiculous situation!

She get married?! What a joke! She would only so that over her dead body!

Ryan was surprised on the other side of the phone. What is going on?

"Scarlett, what is going on? I waited for you at the airport today but you didn't show up!" Ryan instantly accused her.

"Ryan...I'm really sorry for that. Something came up at home. Anyway, we should see each other right now!" Scarlett said. She really had to see him.

Ryan was rolling in the sheets with Sonia as usual when he received Scarlett's call. She was really nervous, asking him to meet up immediately.

Sonia hugged him from behind when he was done with the call.

"What happened? What did Scarlett call you for? She already ditched you. You can see for yourself that she doesn't think much of you!" Sonia said. She would never miss an opportunity to make fun of Scarlett and spoil her character in front of Scarlett!

How could she get to date Ryan easily? She is the official girlfriend of Ryan and right now she is just the second woman who is sleeping with her friend's boyfriend. She is the one who truly loves Ryan! Why does she have to hide with him like this? It isn't fair!

It isn't fair at all!

Ryan turned to face the woman who was completely naked, pressing her soft chest against him.

"I don't know. She sounded really urgent. She said that we had to meet" Ryan reported to Sonia.

"Hmph! What does she want to see you for? She isn't even sorry for the fact that she stood you up and she is still demanding to meet you! Does she think that you you are going to do everything for her just because she tells you to? What does she take you for?" Sonia asked. She really Scarlett's guts. How can she have everything in the palm of her hand so easily? What about her? What is she supposed to do?
