C16 Cousin Is Very Lecherous!

Gu Tingshen took Huo Niannian by the hand, and together they stood up. He told Grandpa it was time for them to head back.

Gu Yufei quickly stepped forward and said, "Elder Brother Tingshen, won't you rest a bit before leaving? I've just brewed some fruit tea. It's perfect for aiding digestion before you go."

Grandpa Gu, with a smile, chimed in, "Since Yufei has made tea, you should stay. Niannian, didn't you want one of my calligraphy pieces? If you stay tonight, I'll write it for you."

The Old Master greatly admired his granddaughter-in-law's lively and generous spirit. She spoke candidly about her modest upbringing, sharing many details about her childhood with her grandmother.

Her stories reminded Grandpa Gu of the hardships he faced when he was young, and of his own grandmother, which made him grow even fonder of Huo Niannian.

Gu Tingshen gave Huo Niannian a questioning look.

Huo Niannian certainly didn't want to stay; everyone but Grandpa Gu made her uncomfortable.

However, she couldn't just snub Grandpa Gu's suggestion. She smiled and replied, "Then we'll stay for the tea Sister has made before we leave."

Gu Yufei forced a smile at being called 'Sister' and turned to head back to the kitchen to tend to the fruit tea.

As she prepared the tea, her eyes kept straying to the entrance, wondering when Gu Zifan would return.

The sound of the door drew Huo Niannian's gaze, and she saw a young man enter, swaying as if drunk.

The Old Master frowned and said, "How many times do I have to tell you? You never change. Yufei, make him some sobering tea."

Gu Yufei called out an acknowledgment from the kitchen.

Yin Jie quickly offered, "Old Master, don't get angry. Why don't I take you for a stroll? That way, you won't get upset seeing Zifan."

After Yin Jie and Grandpa left, Gu Tingshen leaned in close to Huo Niannian and whispered, "Remember what I told you? That's my no-good cousin, Gu Zifan."

Huo Niannian nodded in understanding. However, Gu Tingshen was standing so close, his arm nonchalantly resting on the back of the sofa behind her, that it looked as though he was holding her. They whispered to each other, lost in a private conversation.

Gu Yufei stood in the kitchen, her eyes seething as she observed their intimate exchange. But her anger gave way to a cunning grin when she saw Gu Zifan stagger into the room, clearly drunk. She had long known about her cousin Gu Zifan's lascivious nature. Her mother had also mentioned earlier that day that Gu Zifan would be visiting, and that he had been drinking heavily. Gu Yufei was convinced that if she could arrange for Gu Zifan to be alone with Huo Niannian, something scandalous would surely unfold.

The prospect of Gu Tingshen catching Huo Niannian seducing his cousin, and the inevitable expulsion from the Gu family that would follow, filled Gu Yufei with excitement.

While Gu Yufei was brewing tea, Gu Zifan entered the living room. The sight of Huo Niannian brought him to a halt.

A classic prodigal, at twenty-six, Gu Zifan had no drive for self-improvement, spending his days in pleasure-seeking. Without a steady girlfriend, much less any intention of starting a family, the recent news about Gu Tingshen had been a thorn in his side.

Gu Tingshen had married a woman of remarkable grace, while Gu Zifan remained a bachelor, a fact that sparked a hint of jealousy in him. Moreover, the intimate video of Huo Niannian and Gu Tingshen that had gone viral the day before had left him restless with desire. He had been looking forward to meeting his attractive sister-in-law for quite some time.

Taking a seat on a single sofa, he engaged in conversation with Gu Tingshen, though his gaze kept drifting towards Huo Niannian.

Huo Niannian, perceptive as always, easily recognized his intentions. Yet, she wasn't put off. Instead, she flashed him a subtle, teasing smile when no one else was watching.

Inwardly, Huo Niannian derided him for lusting after his cousin's wife. "You're a true scoundrel," she thought to herself, determined to teach him the lesson he deserved.
