Gu Tingshen leaned in close to Huo Niannian, his gaze intense and almost threatening. "Do you believe I could expose my true self to you right this moment?"

As he spoke, his eyes dropped to the slightly open neckline of her pajamas.

Huo Niannian quickly tightened her clothes around herself. "Cut it out, I'm sick right now!"

Gu Tingshen's eyes narrowed. "Alright. We'll make love when you're well again."

Huo Niannian shivered at his declaration.
