It was a stunning view of the great sky-piercing mountains, the peak of which was shrouded in dark condensed cloud, and the bottom of which was guided by other smaller mountains that stood unwavering and sturdy.

The wind whistled with spirit whispers, and they all seemed to be moving a blade of the golden heart leaf.

This golden heart leaf moved in a disorderly swirling motion through the air, passing through smaller specks of deaths.

A young man with long silvery hair dressed in ragged clothes and a broken sword tied around his waist stood on top of one of these mountains.

The golden heart leaf moved closer to him as he stood, and with a helpless smile, he stretched his hands and grasped the stalk of the leave, then raised it in the direction of the orange evening sun, which was about to be devoured by the countless dark clouds.

"Why are the heavens being so unjust to me? Even after transmigrating, the only thing I have to deal with is pain!"

He spoke in a sad tone, as if he was conversing with the golden heart leave.

Lin Feng is his name, and he is not from this world, but from another where technology has advanced to a higher level.

Until one day when he found himself raiding a very powerful sect with the other members then his identity was revealed when a student dragged down his mask, making his life a living hell, and the bandit guild even kicked him out despite his plea.

This resulted in him isolating himself in the mountain for several weeks, and every day a stalk of golden heart leaf would float to where he was, today being the twentieth, but he discovered that this golden leaf had gotten some purplish energy on it, which worried him, but he still shared his pain with it.

"The leaves can move freely, and the animals have an abundance of resources, so why am I cursed with bad luck? You know how much I admire that? I actually wish I hadn't been reincarnated; I could have made it then and lived a happy life, but bad luck always seems to be parasitic on me, not giving me."

"But, golden heart, why did you abandon your interesting life with your kind to stay with a loser like me? or don't tell me you're also despised, but you seem different today, what's the deal, buddy?"

Lin Feng kept personifying with the golden leaf until mother nature's pretty hands caressed his face and made him fall back to sleep, but this was unexpected because Lin Feng wasn't the type to fall asleep at any time.

At the same time he closed his eyes, all the clouds in the sky began clearing a path for a purplish swirling entity that quickly took over the sky and even began dominating by spreading his purplish body with the other clouds, causing the sky to roar with lightnings.

As this was happening, the once-bright evening began to turn purplish, indicating a phenomenon.

This purplish entity also dominated the sun, which turned purplish and released purple light that shone brightly on the earth.

The wail of countless people soon filled the earth as the purplish entity spread not only his color but also a dark purplish energy that stole the minds of humans and beasts, causing a rapid mutation that transformed them into power hungry creatures.

Lin Feng lay defenseless on the ground, oblivious to the phenomenon.

The golden heart leaf he was carrying exploded into a golden energy that formed a semicircle around him and blocked the purplish aura from reaching him.

The phenomenon continued for several hours, and the golden energy did not leave Lin Feng's side during that time.

This phenomenon ended; the sun remained in the sky with a purplish hue, the clouds remained with a light purple hue, and the purple entity vanished and was quickly covered by the clouds.

A bright golden glow could be seen on one mountain top, acting as a bright light that temporarily performed the job of the sun, and this glow protected Lin Feng by dispelling the purplish energy at the time.

The doomsday energy is that purplish energy that has turned human cultivators into zombies, beasts into existence with various dark abilities, but the system has improved its purity and turned it into pure energy that entered Lin Feng's body, performing the same function that it naturally has except that his mental body was still balanced.
