C3 Meet

"Brother, maybe I'll be home late?! Today is Mayor Ariel's birthday." Zarie shouted to her brother Kenie while fixing her stuff she needs.

"Alright, just text me so I can pick you up right away. I'll go to Mrs. Aniza to pay for the land." Kenie stroked her hair so she was frowned at him.

"Stop that brother! My hair." She glared at him but the bastard laughed out loud.

"Hahaha you're really the youngest girl, but don't get married first?"

"Brother!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. "I don't even have a boyfriend and here you are, talking about that? And one more thing, I haven't had a boyfriend yet then you're telling me about this married thingy? Where's your justice?" Her older brother Kenie messing her hair that's her hands automatically hit his arms.

"Hahaha yes, yes, I know, go ahead, leave and you might be late."

She rolled her eyes at him before waving a goodbye. Their parent passed away early in a car accident, ten years ago. She was eighteen years old right now while her brother kenie is twenty five years old.

Their lives were difficult then. When their parents died at her age of eight, they were evicted from the house where they were staying. They were wandering the streets. At her brother Kenie's age of fifteen, he already work for their sake. When her older brother continued to work, they also got a house to rent.

As of now, her older brother Kenie has bought a land for 100k and has it own title. She also worked as a maid at their Mayor's house in town to help with their daily expenses. Even though her older brother didn't want her to work and continue her education, she insisted on breaking it and helped him to the expenses.

They are BUSY helpers in the Mayor's house because the number of visitors is starting to increase.

"Hey! Miss!" She quickly went to the man who called her.

"What is that, Sir?" She genuinely smile at him as a respect.

"Wow!" Admiration was written all over his face. He intently stared at her that's why she felt embarrassed to the man. "Such a beautiful Lady here." He sneezed and scratched his head before continuing to say. "I know it's rude and I'm sorry for that. Ahm, Can you get me a water?"

Zarie smiled and nodded at the man and said goodbye to fetch water. She hurried to walk to get to the kitchen door but she was just so shocked when someone came out of it which caused them to collide. She thought, she was going to fall but a strong arm wrapped around her waist. Consecutive swallows she made because of the man fragrant smell that penetrated in her nose. Her heart was beating fast and she didn't know if this because she was about to fall or because of the arms around her waist.

She slowly raised her head and almost took her breath when she saw how handsome the man is.

No! Scratch that, he's a freaking Greek God for goodness sake. This is her first to see someone so handsome like this.

The man sneezed so she woke up in a daze and fantasizing about it.

"S-sorry,"

She quickly pushed him away but also quickly inhaled when the man tightly wrapped his arm again in her waist and hit her face on his hard chest. Her lips parted as she looked up at the man.

She couldn't breathe properly because of her heart rate. She wanted to get out of this situation but she didn’t know how. She was drowning, and she didn't know why she felt like she would be completely out of breath if she hadn't left here.

Is he mad?

His face was blank and he was staring at her intently. Their gaze was cut off when he suddenly lowered his gaze to her parted lip. She was sweating even though the aircon in Mayor's house was strong. Her eyes widened and she realized their position as the man slowly lowered his face to hers. Suddenly her brain went blank and her throat went dry.

What will he do? Will he kiss me? N-no!

It was as if her prayer had been heard When someone's sneeze. She pushed the man away and bowed in utter embarrassment.

"Good evening, Mr. Monterealez."

The man didn't respond to Mayor Ariel's greeting so she force herself to look at him. She was shocked to see that the man still staring at her intently.

"A-ah?! M-mayor I-I'm leaving." She bowed to the Mayor before to the man and quickly entered the kitchen door.

When she little farther away, she could only breathe easily and was held in the chest by the force of its pulse.

"W-what is that?" She confusely asked herself.

Her heart continuesly beating so fast and loud, as if she was racing in a horse. Something that had just happened to her.

Haist! I forgot! I need to get a water. She shouted sharply in her mind.

RYKER seems to be annoyed. He shakes the glass filled with wine and eventually sips on it.

Tsk. He had been sitting here. Where is that Mayor now? If only his father hadn't instructed him, he would never come to a boring party like this.

Since he could not bear the boredom, he decided to look for the Mayor. But, he entered the wrong door.

For pete sake! it's a fucking kitchen room!

He quickly went out to the door but was also quickly surprised because someone was also coming in here. They collided, because of his instinct that the woman might be fall, he quickly wrapped his arm around her waist.

He was repeatedly depressed in his mind when he smelled her natural fragrance and felt the resurrection of what should only be sleeping.

Damn! Fucking boner.

He stared at the woman's face. She looks like an angel. Ryker shocked when something between in his thighs started to be hard.

He sneezed so that the dryness of his throat would somehow disappear.

"S-sorry,"

Fuck! Wrong move! The thing between his thighs hardened even more. Fucking hell!

She pushed him away from her but he quickly slipped back into his arms.

Not so fast, baby love!

Ryker stared at her naturally red lips.

He swallowed hard. Shit! I badly needed to kiss her.

His plan to kiss the woman was thwarted because of the old Mayor.

Tsk, really bad.

"A-ah?! M-mayor, I'm leaving."

He was able to look at her as she hurried away.

He smirked, you can't get away from me baby love, Til next time. And that next time means later. You can escape to me.

Ryker turned to Mayor's Ariel as he sneezed.

"General, this is the proposal your father's asking for,"

"Yeah, thanks!" After he took the documents from the old man, he turned his back on him but he still couldn't take a step when Mayor Ariel spoke which made him stopped.

"General, I'm not interfering but- leave that girl alone. She's only eighteen years old."

He raised his eyebrow and face the old man. "What are you trying to say?" He asked in a serious question. Mayor Ariel stiffened that's why he smiled. He approached him and gently patted the shoulder.

"Don't do anything stupid Mayor. You know me, don't trick me, stay away from me and to my girl. We can be allies, just don't bothered us."

One wrong move Mayor and you are so dead. No one can stand against me. From now on, she is mine, and no one can take her away from me.

I, myself will declare her as mine.
