"We...have kids together?" Kara ventured uncertainly, sitting back down her chair, elbow resting on her knees as she leans forward towards Stephen.

Stephen coughed into his hands discreetly.

"Two."

Kara nearly jumped at his response. Two? She had two kids in the future with Stephen?

"Are we... happy?"

Again uncertainty twinge her voice.

Stephen heaved a sigh.

"I think so
