(Mr. Axl's Mansion)

" I need the receipts for the transactions made last week" Cathy yelled from the dining room as she climbed the stairs.

" You have no right to get explanations on how I spend my money".

She let out a mocking laughter as she said " your money?Listen to me Axl it's My money ".

"Am married to you so everything you have is mine"

"Really? She asked with popped eyeballs.

" Get your ass upstairs and get me the receipt she ordered.

" You should be ashamed of yourself, ordering your husband like a common helper" Axl pitifully said.

" Young man, your wasting my time I honestly have work to do" she commanded sternly.

" I regretted ever marrying you Cathy Chester ".

She laughed mischievously as though she knew he didn't mean what he said.

" For God's sake who would ever regret marrying the richest woman?".

Cathy was about to say something when a maid came and bowed

" Sir, your friend Mr Dementrio had come to see you ".

" Bring him in" he said with smiles all over. His best friend had just saved him from the furry of his wife.

" I will get back to you later" he whispered as he rushed downstairs without waiting to get her reply.

"Dementrio, the deadliest of all" Axl's greeted his friend as he welcomed him to his study .

Dementrio was the exact opposite of his brother. From his height to his face and other features they were all definitions of being ugly.

He wore dark shades every time to hide his fearful eyeballs. His skin were full of scars that showed he had been through hell in life.

He sat down at the cushion opposite the desk as Axl moved to get a drink from the mini bar in his office.

"You returned so early from your trip Dementrio".

"It wasn't as favourable as I wanted " He sounded angry.

"Have some drink to cure your pain my friend " Axl offered as he handed him a glass half filled with red wine.

"How about you? How have you been? You had another fight with Cathy?He asked taking the glass.

Axl and Cathy had not even been married up to six months and their marriage was already filled with drama and quarrels. He vividly remembered how grand their wedding was and how Cathy smiled as they exchanged wedding vows.As soon as they came back from their three days Honeymoon, they became total strangers and enemies.

Axl's answer brought him back to reality.

"Yeah, just some regular quarrels".

"Didn't seem like regular to me, remember she hasn't come to say hi to me" Dementrio spoke up.

" You know how Cathy could be about spending money, she always wants to know how I spend the company's income" Axl muttered bitterly.

" Why not divorce her?" He asked watching his friend's face from the dark shade he wore.

Axl raised an eyebrow after hearing what he said, He couldn't even picture out what Dementrio was saying.

"How could he suggest divorce of all solutions? What happens to all the properties his father had ensured he gets?"

"Cathy is a ruthless being just like her father, the blood line of Mr. Chester is ruthless and evil" Axl explained bitterly.

"Have you tried talking her into giving you a share of her father's property " Dementrio asked this time removing his sunshades. He always did that whenever he wanted to say something serious because he felt his blood shot eyes showed seriousness.

"Yeah, a lot of time " he answered pouring another glass for himself

Axl nodded and continued

"what was her response?".

"The wealth is strictly for the Chester's family and she can't give it to an outsider "Axl replied bitterly.

"Goddammit...she's really a pain now, but I thought as her husband you have all the wealth?" He asked as he finished his glass wine , everything was becoming more complex and complicated.

"That's what the public thinks but the companies, businesses and houses are still under Cathy's name, she will have to make me a sole proprietor before I get the full access to the wealth and fortune "Axl explained.

"Why not drug her and then make her sign the documents " Dementrio asked.

Axl wasn't surprised hearing that, he knew his friend and the ideas he was capable of thinking but drugging Cathy won't be that easy , she is very smart.

Dementrio sat quietly as he sipped the red wine allowing the scent of the alcohol flow through his nostrils. He needed the properties as fast as possible, that was his last promise to his father and he wanted to keep that promise. If left for him, he didn't want to involve a lady like Damien mentioned because Axl was his best friend and he could trick him into signing the property papers at any point in time but now the properties weren't even in Axl's name so there was no way he could get them. He breathed heavily as he felt Damien was hiding something from him and anger flowed through his vein as he thought of Damien trying to betray him but he couldn't tell if it was true of not. Damien was his elder brother and he was so smart and cunning .

"Cathy is very very smart, she has connections with different cannibals of human beings so we can't even hurt her" Axl cried out.

"Don't worry about Cathy, I will think of a solution to put her in her place" He stated as he stood up to leave

"You have plans for going to work today??" Axl asked peeping through his glass

"Yeah, I have some meetings arranged to get me more money" Damien answered with a mischievous smile.

"Smile often Damien, so you could get yourself a young and beautiful girl" .

"Am not interested in women, they are so complicated and I can't stand their drama" He retorted .

Axl let out a loud laughter almost chocking and spilling his drink.

"Yeah, that's true"he nodded in affirmation

"I will be leaving,see you some other time" Damien said as he straightened up his jacket, put his dark shades on and left ,walking as fast as possible.
