C7 How About I Give Her to You?
In the conference room:
Shen Qi followed Ye Moxuan into the conference room. A look of surprise appeared on all the attendees' faces.
Xiao Su had always been the only person by Ye Moxuan's side. Now that she suddenly appeared, everyone was dying to know what her relationship is with Ye Moxuan.
Shen Qi had been an assistant before, but she had never attended such a large meeting. The conference room was enormous, but it's no surprise considering that the Ye's Group is the leading group in North City.
The moment Shen Qi entered the room, she unconsciously shrank back and dropped her shoulders from the immense pressure. All eyes were on her as she followed Xiao Su and Ye Moxuan in.
Even when she arrived at her spot behind Ye Moxuan, everyone's eyes were still on her.
"Director Ye, this is?"
Ye Linhan, who is the Deputy Director of Ye's Group, was naturally also in the meeting. He was also surprised to see Ye Moxuan bring Shen Qi with him to this meeting.
Shen Qi tugged the hem of her shirt out of anxiety while trying desperately to calm her nerves. She slowly raised her head to met everyone's probing eyes and glanced around until she found someone looking at her with a gentle gaze.
It was Ye Linhan.
When their eyes met, Ye Linhan smiled gently and nodded at Shen Qi.
Immediately, Shen Qi no longer felt nervous. She pursed her lips and smiled at Ye Linhan.
At that moment, Shen Qi thought, Ye Linhan really is a gentleman, unlike someone else she knew.
Ye Moxuan noticed their interaction.
His cold eyes narrowed, and he scoffed, "Nurse."
"What?"
No one understood what Ye Moxuan meant by a nurse.
Neither did Shen Qi.
"Director Ye, what did you just say she was?"
Ye Moxuan's gaze was cold and sharp. He raised his eyebrows, faced the person who asked, and answered, "Grandpa hired a nurse for me to take care of my daily life."
Shen Qi's face paled his words and lowered her eyes to look at him.
She came here to be his assistant. Since when did she become his nurse?
"Coffee." Ye Moxuan cold voice interrupted her thoughts.
Shen Qi stood there until Xiao Su gave her a look did she realized Ye Moxuan was talking to her. She immediately left the conference room to make him coffee.
The meeting had already begun when Shen Qi returned. She quietly placed the cup of coffee in front of Ye Moxuan.
Ye Moxuan took a sip and frowned. "It's too sweet. Make another one."
The meeting continued with Ye Moxuan's complaining about the coffee from time to time.
"Too weak."
"Too hot."
"Too cold."
Shen Qi ran in and out of the conference room, trying to make Ye Moxuan a cup of coffee. This wasn't a meeting. This was Ye Moxuan's opportunity to humiliate her in front of others, and he succeeded. Shen Qi felt so ashamed she wanted to hide, away from the gazes coming from all directions.
But every time she was about to flare up, she remembered the Shen family's situation and quickly calmed down to make another cup of coffee.
Bang!
Ye Moxuan slammed the cup of coffee on the table. Everyone jumped from the sudden loud noise.
"You wanted to be my nurse, yet this is all you can do?"
Shen Qi stood there, her face pale, not knowing what to do.
Ye Linhan, sitting not far away, frowned at the scene. He could not help but interrupt, "Moxuan, that's too much."
Oh? Big brother is standing up for her? Looks like she somehow got him on her side.
The smile on Ye Moxuan's lips became colder. "Does big brother feel sorry for my nurse? How about I give her to you?"
Hearing his words, Shen Qi bit her lips. Her fingers trembled in anger.
