The Xia Wang Jie had a total of nine realms.

The Nine Realms were: Heaven, Earth, Mystic, Yellow, Universe, Eternal, Flood, Desolate, and the Spiritual Realms.

Each world was independent and independent of each other, and the Xia Emperor's world was itself a world of its own, thus these nine realms were called worlds within worlds
