“What are you talking about?” I asked.

“Don’t be dumb, Rebecca. What’s wrong with you?”

I really hate these situations.

“Rebecca,” he said, raising his voice, “stop sulking. Your husband is a good man, he can take care of you. There’s no way in hell you’ll ever find a better offer than him, and I’m not going to stand here and watch you waste it.”
