My eyes remained on him as he exchanged silent glances with Dr. Amie. Despite him looking unkempt, he managed to look so good. And I wondered how. I greedily drank him in, wanting him close.

He felt my eyes on him, he knew I was looking at him from the sideways glances I kept receiving from him. And I never wanted the doctor to get out of the room so fast.
