C2 Alpha

I don't know who my father is, I haven't been with my mother for a long time either. But I know in myself that I am an Omega. As he said, my heartbeat is the heartbeat of an omega. My scent is an omega.

And my strength he says...

Honestly, my birthday is coming up and it's my 21st birthday but I haven't been able to shift form as a werewolf yet. Normal werewolves change form when they turn 18. But my age has reached 20 years, I'm still not a full werewolf.

"A-Alpha..."

I called him to his position as a werewolf even I couldn't stand the pace. My grip tightened on the papers I was hugging. Sir Eros' eyes were hard to predict what was playing in his mind.

I have no ability to read what others are thinking. Especially to him since he's an Alpha. But in our current situation it seems like he wants to tell me something that he notices. If it's about my strength that he says is strange, I find it hard to believe that.

"I-I've been waiting for years to shift form, b-but it still isn't happening to me..."

Actually, I want to shift form so that I can know who my mate is. We can only feel the feelings for our mate if we were fully real werewolf. But if we haven't shifted form yet, it's unlikely we'll know who our destined mate is.

"Tomorrow is your birthday."

I'm currently staring at the floor while thinking. But now my eyes automatically glued at him.

It's impossible that he actually remembered my birthday. He's an Alpha, I'm just an Omega. The truth is, I forgot that tomorrow is my birthday, the day is fast. It seems like only yesterday was the 1st date of the month and tomorrow is my birthday. I am 21 years old.

I tried not to show my fear and force to smile genuine.

"Y-Yes, by the way." I scratched my neck and shyly looked straight at him. "I didn't remember that tomorrow is my birthday, S-Sir..."

I don't like celebrating birthdays since before, so it's no wonder if I forget it.

I almost swallowed the lump in my throat. "Y-Yes Sir, m-much will change for me. My smell will be stronger as an omega and I will also know who my mate is. If I see him soon this year."

I don't know why he was staring at me. His eyes seemed to be talking to me but I still couldn't read his facial expression. But usually I was the first who's averted a gaze because I couldn't resist his burning eyes.

"I'll wait for you to shift form."

I automatically raised my face. "Huh?"

He will wait for me to shift form? But why? Since when did this Alpha care about the transformation of omegas especially one like me who grew up without parents?

If I were the daughter of a Zeta or Beta I would understand why he would wait to witness. Because the son of a Zeta or Beta also has the same strength as them and I don't have that as an omega.

"You may leave in my office now," he said later.

I looked down at the paper I was hugging. Won't he take it?

"I can read in your mind. You haven't finished them yet so I'm giving you a chance to finish them all and come back here later after 6 hours."

6 hours? There are only 5 hours left today and it's time to go home. Why 6? So I will work overtime? Do I have the right to complain? Of course there was nothing, so all I did was bow my head to say goodbye.

"Oh? Why are you still carrying that? I thought you were going to pass it on to Sir Eros?" Bella immediately asked me when I returned to my desk next to her.

"I don't know either. He just talked to me and then that's all. I left his office still carrying it."

"What did he say? Did he scold you? I was almost restless here because I was worried about you. Did you know that it really crossed my mind how he yelled at you in the office? I looked forward to it. I even waiting the door open while you came out in tears as he yelled at you 'you're fired!' I thought that was the one I was going to see when the door finally opened."

My eyes glued to her. As her mouth was too babbling to speak, she unintentionally said that she wanted our boss to fire me from this company. Her eyes narrowed into slit while staring at me as if she couldn't read my thoughts from the way I was looking at her.

"But wait!" She even pointed at me with her index finger. "If he didn't scold you and you still carry those papers with you. Does that mean he told you something else and..." Her eyes glued at me even more while it's kept narrowing into slit. "Did he promoted you? I heard that his secretary with McDonald's eyebrows filed a resignation letter this morning. Did he hire you as a secretary replacement?"

There is really no latest gossip about this girl. Those things I don't know she knows.

"Hey!" She even waved her hand in my face. "Why are you silent there? I know I'm beautiful but you're so OA the way you kept staring at me! What did Sir Eros say to you?"

I looked away after she noticed my gaze. She really didn't get what I meant the way I looked at her. I almost didn't blink but her slowpoke is still there. I sighed and put the papers I've been hugging since earlier on the desk.

"He said I should bring these papers to him after 6 hours," I answered and sat in my chair.

"That's all?"

What I said wasn't surprising, but Bella's loud question next to me, made me deaf.

"He didn't ask why you haven't finish that? Do you know... I also noticed Sir Eros had the ability to predict? He can guess what people are thinking so I'm sure he can also guess what you're thinking. And of course since you were anxious earlier he knows that what you're thinking is about those unfinished papers!"

As Bella spoke, I couldn't help but to shock a little. Alpha Eros has the ability to hear what people are saying in their minds or even low class werewolves. And I didn't expect him to do that to people. Bella is a human who knows nothing about werewolves.

And Bella actually found out about that. Isn't the Alpha of the Dark moon pack worried that people might find out his secret?

"There you are again, remained silent! I don't know what you're thinking right now. What did Sir Eros say to you? Did he scold you or not?"

I sighed again. Because of what she said, my curiosity in life increased but I have to answer this friend of mine who has two mouths in talking so that she can rest her tongue and I can continue my work too.

"He just gave me a chance to finish what I was doing. And that chance was only 6 hours."

It's hard to interrupt the conversation when I'm talking to Bella. Usually it took ten minutes to ask me before she kept quiet and just concentrated on work.

It was late afternoon and my other companions had gone home. I didn't stop working until my neck ached, and my hands were numb.

I shook it to relieve the numbness but it only got worse. I closed my eyes when I felt pain in my shoulder. I suddenly felt dizzy and my nape hurt too. The numbness in my fingers turned to itching. Why is it? The papers I'm working on don't have viruses.

"Ah!" I clutched my eyes as my vision of the papers suddenly became blurry. I know Bella notices me and anytime she will ask what's going on with me.

"Are you okay? Do you need my help?" Like I said she will ask questions. I also felt her soft hand holding my arm.

"I'm fine. I just got dizzy suddenly but it was only for a moment."

I tried to blink my eyes but my vision was still really blurry.

"I don't think you're okay," she commented and touched my cheek. "Are you really okay? Sure?"

I rubbed my eyes then opened it and stared at her. Suddenly, her hand that was holding my face released.

"Oh my god! What happened to your eyes?!" she exclaimed and I saw her move away from me.

She almost fell from her seat and I was also surprised by her color. She suddenly became yellow orange color in my vision.
