The pain I feel disappears and later returns. I left Sir Eros' office. Now I'm walking closer to the entrance of the building. Fortunately, I am not attacked by body pain. I just got out of there without any hindrance in my actions. But I still can't get over what the Alpha said. He never smelled the smell of a rouge on me but my mother used to say, my father was a rouge.

How did that happen?

He also said, he feels strange strength in me. Where can I get such strength? And how powerful is that? That's impossible to be as strong as him? I'm just an omega.

I am currently standing at the passenger car terminal. There are no jeeps to ride to our place. My only hope is to take a taxi. But since it's night time, I'll have a hard time finding a ride.

Suddenly, I heard a loud voice. I held my ears, I was almost deafened by the loud conversation of the people. This is what they say is the ability of a werewolf. Even from a distance I can hear what others are talking about.

I just closed my eyes and concentrated to endure with the deafening voices around me until I get used to it. I also felt energies around me. That was just a sign that I wasn't the only werewolf around.

Opening my eyes, I looked up at the sky, I saw the beautiful moon. It looks great and feels so light. I feel like it's talking to me. Is this the feeling when you are about to shift form? It's like the moon is calling me.

It's almost 9:00pm. But I'm still here on the lookout for cars. Silence fell around and not even a single taxi stopped in front of me. I still have three hours left to prepare myself for my form shift. I need to be in a private place before that happens.

"Hmph!" I automatically grabbed my belly. Again I was visited by the twitching of my muscles. My bones sound like they are growing. The pain felt like it was tearing my body apart.

I want to scream but I don't want to get anyone's attention. I persevered and chose not to make a sound. But the pain got worse. It got to the point where I was on my knees again. I almost want to lie on the ground. My sweat is like a faucet. My face was wet as I felt the pain.

I don't know what to do. How can I take a taxi if I'm in this situation? Someone who sees me will definitely take me to the hospital. That helps me, yes, but what I feel shouldn't be discovered by other people.

I tried to stand up. I rested my wriggling hand on the rough concrete to gain strength and get my feet up. My whole body seemed to shake. All parts of it seem forced and the pain is hard to bear.

When I stood up even though it wasn't straight, I stepped on one leg. It was heavy and I had a hard time lifting it but I forced to do. If what I experienced earlier inside the Alpha's office was intense, the pain I feel now is even more intense.

I took one more step. I forced myself to follow that with another step. I took a deep breath to somehow ease the pain I was feeling.

Is the first form shift really this painful? Why do other werewolves seem so easy for them? And why don't they seem to be hurt? Isn't it really this painful when the transformation of a werewolf is late?

It's possible!

"Ah!" I let out another cry as the bones in my back rang again.

Suddenly I fell from where I was standing and I lay down on the rough cement on the side of the road. I couldn't take it anymore, I couldn't stop myself from screaming in pain.

"Miss!"

Oh my god, there's someone! He can't see my eyes that are a different color. But wait, why does his voice sound so familiar?

"Sophia?"

It's Ethan! He's one of my friends and he is a human. What should I do? I need help now but he can't be the one to help me.

"Are you okay? What happened to you?"

I felt his hand on my arm. He lifted my head and I had no choice but to close my eyes because he might see it that were a different color.

"Shit! You're drenched in sweat. Can't you stand up? I'll just take you to the hospital—"

"No!" I immediately hold his arm tightly. "Please no! Leave me here Ethan, just go!"

I don't want to treat him like this as if I'm pushing him away but this is what I have to do now. But I know he'll insist.

"What? You're not in a good condition! You lie here on the road and you don't want to? I'll take you to the hospital because you need it!"

He tried to pick me up but I tightened my grip on his arm again. "You don't understand Ethan!"

As long as I can try not to open my eyes I will not open it even though I want to look at him. I don't know what to do but I don't want to just give up on this. If he finds out about my true identity, I will not only destroy myself but also the entire pack.

"What don't I understand? Sophia, you are almost fainting and writhing in pain, I don't know what's wrong with you but I can't leave you here like that—"

"Let me help her."

I was almost deafened by the pounding of my chest. I'm not just dreaming, I'm sure it's Alpha's voice.

"S-Sir... thank you very much but she needs to be taken to the hospital."

I almost swallowed the lump in my throat but I kept my eyes closed.

"I don't want to repeat what I said. You can leave and she's safe in my hands," the Alpha said authoritatively and Ethan's hand slowly moved away from me.

"T-Thank you sir! It's a good thing you came. She's already sweating and looks like..." I felt two arms lift me up. Now I can feel his body.

"...I think there's something wrong inside her belly, because that's what she's holding."

"Go home, I'll take care of her."

I held my clothes tightly. I'm sure Alpha doesn't like what's going on right now. I almost ruined our race.

"Alright, Sir. I'll go first. Sophia, call me when you're okay. It's hard to worry."

I didn't answer Ethan's plea. I just felt the Alpha's footsteps as he lifted me up. I heard the car door open and I just opened my eyes.

I looked at Alpha who bent down and lowered me into the seat inside the car.

"When you have shifted form. Distance yourself from people," he instructed me and I could feel the strong tone of his speech.

I just gulped while still panting. "F-Forgive me Alpha... it won't happen again."

I just bowed while telling him those words. I was holding my breath because of the bundle of nerves. I can feel his heavy presence. It's scary as if my head will be separated from my body anytime and he is the one who did it.

The pain I feel calmed down. My surroundings relaxed when he left my side and closed the door.

This is my first time to get into his car. As an omega I am lucky because here I am sitting inside of the car that belongs to him. But it's also not because he dropped a threat on me. I still haven't raised my face. I just felt the car door open again on the other side. It hummed as he got in and sat in the driver's seat.

"W-Where are we going, Alpha?" I asked fearfully when I noticed that we passed the pack village.

The direction we were going seemed to be going to Lupusmons. A mountain where only werewolves live.

"You're having a lot of trouble when you first shift into this wolf form. Because like I said, it's not just omega blood running through your veins. There's a strong energy in your body and I can't tell what it is."

"I-I don't understand you Alpha..."

"I want to know the power you have. Whether that power is a protection or a threat to the entire race."

He lived longer than me. What he was saying seemed to have that knowledge attached to it from the life of werewolves more than three hundred years ago.

More than three hundred years which is as long as his age.
