The morning sun filtered through the large glass windows of the hospital, bathing the spotless white corridors in a warm glow. Nurses hurried from one ward to another. It was another busy day.

For me, it was exactly what I needed.

Work kept my mind occupied. Every patient I cared for gave me another reason to forget Jason Evans.
