Jason did not hear Nancy frightened whisper of 'What are you doing?' as he kept drawing closer and closer to her like someone in a trance and he must have been because the only thought in his head was to taste her lips one more time.

Nancy herself stood rooted to the spot. Her back to the wall of the pool and her hands clenching it.

Jason got there and tipped her face upward
